Thanks for a great stay at your condo at Disciple Village at Boyne. We had a wonderful stay and the unit was exactly as promised, and exceeded our expectations. The home was decorated nicely, kitchen was great and we enjoyed all the amenities. I would highly recommend anyone rent with you for your prompt replies and professional handling, and I would also recommend staying at Boyne above other options in the area. We have stayed in the area numerous times and Boyne is now at the top of our for years to come, especially as we now have young children that can enjoy it all.
Appreciate the help with late checkout and hope you enjoy the rest of your summer.
I know it will take a little time to validate checkout before returning the damage deposit.
As an aside, when I inquired of you, I also searched other units and direct from Boyne and found your prices to be very reasonable, among the lowest (though a few places were already rented) so just feedback that your price is great for the value.
We stayed on the neighbor's side. We had some issues while staying there and shared this with the owner after we arrived home. The situation was dealt with in a professional manner. The person in charge of renting it was very easy to work with and always very responsive. I only gave it a three star review because the unit was in need of a good spring cleaning as well as some updating. All in all we had a wonderful time on our weekend away and appreciated how the issues we raised were handled in a very professional manner. Price was right for the unit however, it can sleep a lot of people! I would recommend to large groups looking to stay in one location and just looking for a place to rest their heads.
Great Condo! Condo was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Condo was a short walk to the Disciples lift. Walk was very manageable even with young kids (ages 4 to 9.) Jack was very responsive to questions and very easy to work with.
We are very pleased with the accommodations that our group had with your condo, especially the teens and kids who had a place to hang out in the lower level. It made our week end enjoyable in spite of the fact that we had limited time on the slopes due to the unseasonably warm weather. The beds are really comfy, the condo was well stocked. I only had a couple of concerns, the bathroom door on the hallway cannot be locked and one of the wood plank on the stairs outside leading up to the condo was loose. I've already informed the owner about it and he promised to look into it. In the future, I would definitely rent the condo again and recommend it to my friends.
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place! Jeri was always prompt with responses and answered all our questions prior to the trip. We had 2 units which were VERY clean and neat and stocked with essentials for the week. Location is awesome and with all the included activities such as chairlift rides, pool, deer park, etc. it was a wonderful weekend for all of us. We were a big group and there was enough beds for all of us.(Mattresses are awesome!). Even though there were cottages around, it was very quiet.
There are so many places to visit: Petosky, Charlevoix and Boyne City. Would definelty come back here again and again.
We had a wonderful stay in the upstairs and downstairs units. The units were clean and VERY well stocked. We had our family of 5 (three teenage children) plus both sets of grandparents and brother in law. We had PLENTY of room for sleeping and relaxing. We have used VRBO units many times (Hawaii, Minnesota, Washington DC, etc.) -- I would say the main upstairs unit had the BEST assortment of cookware/dishes I have ever experienced. We have food allergies and some picky eaters so we usually prepare 95% of our meals at the condos where we stay - I was very pleasantly surprised by the cookware. Nothing crazy fancy, but just a very nice assortment of different cooking pieces and all in good shape.
Enjoyed working with the owners:
We had a small issue the first night we arrived - I sent an email to the owners and had a personal phone call within two hours to help solve the problem. (Turned out the problem was us, not the unit in any way.) I would highly recommend these units.
We were so pleased with our accomodations at Boyne. Both units were clean and had everything we needed just as we expected by the description. We love Deer Lake and the heated pool. We visited Charlevoix, Petosky and of course, Boyne City. The Friday Night stroll in Boyne City is a favorite of the whole family. We always enjoy Red Mesa Grill and tried Thick and Juicy for burgers, great. Our grandson did zip line with his Dad this year and loved it. The adults had all done that last year. All enjoy Avalanche Bay water park, did that too. The whole week was great, didn't matter we had a couple of cool days.
Boyne Mountain is within a 20 min drive from Charlevoix from which Lake Charlevoix leads into Lake Michigan. Torch Lake, Traverse City, and Mackinac Island.
