BARN SET IN 2 ACRES OF WOODLANDS PLUNGE POOL AND FABULOUS VIEWS Set in the historical village of Banwell at the foot of the Mendip Hills overlooking the Somerset Levels. The barn is situated at the bottom of a steep lane and winding drive next to an A road leading down to the village pubs shops restaurants Post Office and a castle which serves cream teas in the summer. Excellent for walking direct from the property with many footpaths and bridleways including the West Mendip Way which links up with the National Trust site at Crooks Peak. Wells with its Cathedral and shopping area Weston-Super-Mare with beaches shops and restaurants and Cheddar with its famous Gorge are all within easy reach. A 45 minute drive will take you to the historic city of Bath with its famous Roman Spa Baths and Bristol with a huge range of attractions and amenities. The split level accommodation is accessed down several stone steps (which may be unsuitable for elderly or infirm) and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size on ground floor and 1 twin on first floor (this room is in the eaves of the building and has low exposed beams therefore restricted headroom). Bathroom: with bath with shower over and WC on the ground floor. Lounge: on ground floor up one step with woodburner (first basket of logs included) TV/DVD iPod dock a selection of books and sofa bed. Stairs from the lounge lead up to a small galleried landing area. Kitchen/diner: is on the lower ground floor with gas oven gas hob dishwasher fridge with ice compartment washing machine and microwave. Outside: deep stone steps lead to a small patio area further steep stone steps lead up to a raised decked area with spectacular views use of plunge pool between early May and late September summer house and BBQ. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking Regret no pets. Location: pub shop restaurant takeaways within walking distance.
