Location, Location, Location!
Located in the Marais close to Place de la Republique, the apartment sits one half block from the major market street of the neighborhood, rue de Bretagne, as well as one half block from a Metro stop (M8 Filles du Calvaire). Easy walking to Place des Vosges, Musée Picasso, and the heart of the Marais. The apartment was renovated in 2007, and is extremely well kept and well stocked. This is our home away from home and our goal was for it to be comfortable and inviting. The 55 sq. meter apartment is on the third floor(w-elevator), has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. a separate WC, and a private lobby with a standard size washer and dryer. Courtyard and street exposures ensure plenty of light and cross ventilation.
All about the food...
The kitchen is new and modern, with an induction cooktop and oven. Small electrics (coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster) allow you to have a leisurely breakfast before heading off to sightsee. And as a chef, Brad has added kitchen tools that few others would deem “essential”. There are a number of cafés and bistros within walking distance of the apartment. Canvas shopping bags and a map of the vendors we know and like are provided to help make shopping along rue de Bretagne a more simple task.
Thought of most everything...
During our 8 month renovation, we rented apartments near ours on our visits. We noted, in each case, what we thought was missing for a vacationing client. Our amenities reflect our discoveries: ample electrical outlets, hooks throughout to hang jackets/bags/clothing, dim-able overhead lighting, iron/ironing board, and a blow dryer are just a few things we identified. We even try to maintain a supply of travel-sized toiletries that you might forget.
A Guest Services book provides reference for some of the minor challenges of renting an apartment... instructions for using the appliances, heating, etc, as well as some recommendations for local eateries and shops in the neighborhood.

I love the Marais and knew this location would be great for myself and others.
The location and the neighborhood are ideal... outside of the traffic of the heart of the Marais, yet so close to walk. The apartment is bright and light.. is just feels special. And the neighbors and shopkeepers are wonderful. Both the 10th and 11th Arrondissements are very close, and both going through their own 'gentrification'... which has had the added benefit of bring more new and unique shops and cafés to the immediate area.
A wonderful choice for a place to stay in a lively neighborhood of Paris. Bistros and cafes on nearly every block. Shopping for every taste abounds. Very well situated for walking or taking the Metro, this comfortable and well-equipped apartment is a real find. Great sightseeing and restaurant tips from the owner and previous guests. Cannot recommend this apartment and its location more highly.
The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into making this the most comfortable, perfectly located apartment for a short or long trip to Paris. We stayed for 9 days with our 8 month old son and felt like we could have stayed another 9 days or longer! The bed is incredibly comfortable, every amenity you could possibly want is there and their concierge is easily accesible and quick to help with any bumps or problems that might come up. (As well as helping you schedule your 5am shuttle pick-up to the airport.) Zero complaints. Just a great place.
The owners of this apartment show great care in providing a most comfortable "temporary home" for travelers to Paris. The ample storage space for clothing, the efficient washer and dryer, the well-appointed kitchen, and the excellent WI-FI were among the apartment's amenities that contributed to our delightful six night stay for us as well as our daughter and son-in-law. Even more importantly, the apartment is located in a wonderful neighborhood for food-oriented people as ourselves with its boulangeries, charcutieries, organic stores, markets, cafes, and wine bars. We loved the apartment, and we love Paris!
Really nothing to be said except this apartment was perfect. Exactly as represented here, wonderful location. I can't imagine this isn't the best 2 bed apartment rental in Paris. Excellent prompt communication as well.
Lovely apartment in Marais, two bedrooms, one bath with shower and separate watercloset. Well suited for a family with two kids, extremely well decorated, and nice location with easy walking to nearby shops, boulangerie, market, bank, etc. Comfortable beds, elevator, washing machine (shared with neighbors). Near to Pompidou Center and Notre Dame (10 minutes walk), 1/2 block to Metro stop Rue Filles du Calvaire. Owner arranged for pickup via Taxi from CDG, and we were met by the "concierge" who got us setup and into apartment. All very smooth and professional. Looking forward to renting there again!
My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 4 nights and had the most terrific vacation. The apartment was exactly like the listing- beautifully appointed and very clean. It is in an amazing location right around the corner from a metro stop, Rue de Bretagne and a short walk to the heart of the Marais. I can't wait to come back and can't imagine a better place to stay in Paris!
