We, that is myself (Carol) and my husband (Martin) have farmed at Airhouse for almost 30 years. We farm Aberdeen Angus cattle and we built the Lamont Lodge, and another three lodges, in 2006. We spend a lot of time in ensuring that your stay with us will be superb. In 2012 we built a further large house which sleeps up to 10. All 5 houses are in the same area on our working farm and the collection of 5, sleeping up to 28 in total, is known as Airhouses.
Carol purchased this lodge in 2006
We moved to Airhouse Farm as we loved its peaceful location and stunning views yet its close proximity to Edinburgh and the excitement of a city close by.
Self catering with style! Totally relaxing with beautiful views. A sky, on a clear night, which is totally amazing when viewed from your own hot tub. So much peace yet only a half hour drive from Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland, or half an hour from the coast.
Each property is maintained to the highest standard and checked over by ourselves at each changeover. We are there to meet you and help with anything you need.
We stayed in the Lamont lodge which we absolutely loved. It is close enough to Edinburgh to be able to drive in and spend the day yet come home to such a beautiful and peaceful location. Lots of things to do in the immediate area as well. We enjoyed the books, games and dvds available as well as the wonderful breakfast basket.
