Wow. This is trully a lovely villa. With 4 very good sized double bedrooms, all of which are light and airy, you'll have comfortable nights sleep. For those that like to cook local produce, the kitchen has plenty of utensils, and outside a fantastic BBQ area. Upstairs a very spacious lounge should the evenings be a little cooler. However it is the outside that is simply fantastic. A huge shaded terrace with very relaxing furnishings, that made hot days bearable and evenings with a glass of wine or two so enjoyable. The pool side loungers with comfy cushions and towels provided, everything was just perfect. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Nino for the warm welcome he gave my family and I. He made our stay so enjoyable and made sure every comfort was provided. Nino thank you so much for sharing your wonderful villa with us. I would certainly have no problem with booking with you again, it was a pleasure.
Fabulous villa and host
From the day I emailed Nino about booking the villa he was nothing but helpful. Nino picked us from the airport and even made himself available to take us out and about. When he was unable to do this he made arrangements for us to be picked up.
The villa itself was lovely and clean with everything you would need. The garden is large with a pool and a spacious terrace with lots of seating to relax. We were a party of eight and never felt cramped in any way.
Nino and his family made us feel very welcome providing a cold buffet on our first day and then bringing fresh fruit from his garden every morning.
There is a supermarket 5 minutes away from the villa and a restaurant that provides takeaway pizza if you don't fancy going out or has a tasty menu if you want to eat out.
Nino made our stay in Croatia so enjoyable that we would not hesitate to return and stay in this villa.
Weeks stay in beautiful villa
Just got back from villa antonija Nino and his wife went out there way to make our holiday the most enjoyable experience making reservations at resteraunts for us sorting out taxis and even taking us in his own car to places when we couldn't all fit in one taxi I've never met such a helpful couple we had a great time in there lovely villa which has a stunning pool area .There is a lovely restaurant about 5 min walk from the villa which Nino also recommended that we visited 3 times in our week stay because it was so nice .I highly recommend this villa for anybody wanting lovely peaceful stay 5 min from airport as Croatia is a beautiful country
Lovely villa with fantastic hosts
My family which included 4 adults and 3 children (ages 9, 11 & 13) just returned from spending a week at Villa Antonija. We had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived. Nino and his family welcomed us with drinks and a lovely lunch which was great after driving down from near Split. Throughout the week we received fruit, vegetables, cake, lots of advice about the area and what to do and Nino even took us out on his father in laws boat one morning which was one of the highlights of the week. We also drive up the mountain and had fantastic views over the area. We had a car which I think is necessary although there is a great supermarket just around the corner and a bar/restaurant which is lovely. We went into Cavtat most days which is a lovely little town and we also went on a boat to Dubrovnik. Definitely worth doing but go early and check the cruise ship timetables as we went on a day when there were none, it was still busy but nowhere near as bad as on the days when they arrive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the villa is great and had lots of room which was important as there were 7 of us. My favourite part was the outside seating area which was so comfortable. I would definitely recommend and would love to go back one day. We have stayed in lots of villas over the years and Nino and his family are the nicest villa owners we have ever met who really want you to enjoy their lovely house.
We were 2 families (a group of 6 adults) and our hosts Nino and his family couldn't have made us any more welcome, with daily fruit and vegetables left for us. Nino took us out on his boat and pointed out view points excellent viewpoints of the area. Nino also helped us with trips to and from the airport.
The villa is beautiful with everything you need available. The area around the villa is perfect, in fact we were glad to be staying in this area rather than Dubrovnik. We were made very welcome and would highly recommend this villa and Croatia as a holiday destination.
From the first email, of which there were numerous with some silly questions, I knew we had made a good choice. Nino and his family couldn't have been more generous especially with his time. On arrival we were given a delicious lunch all homemade by Nino's wife Rafaela. The villa was very well equipped and the pool was especially welcome during the heatwave. We had a super trip on Nino's boat and a wonderful trip up to the top of the mountain to see the most spectacular sunset. The fresh fruit and vegetables, particularly the figs, were also very welcome. The nearest town, Cavtat, was very attractive with lots of good restaurants. We caught the ferry from there to Dubrovnik which is amazing. We were a party of seven and had plenty of room to spread out. Finally, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Viola Brautović.
Thank You Rosemary
