Marinus was built as a Cowes premier waterfront apartment complex in 2008 and is located next to Shepards Wharf Marina. You won't be disappointed by this stunning apartment. Arrival times are 16:00 and departure time is 10:00. We will do our best to accommodate you outside these times but this depends greatly on other bookings and our cleaning service provider. Late arrivals can also be accommodated by use of a key lock box.

The apartment is situated on the first floor (with lift serving only 3 properties - each with private landings). Situated at the front of the south wing the apartment has 2 balconies north & south to ensure that you catch all the sun but have shade as well - Your choice!
Our panoramic sea and medina river views ensure that you can see all the activity which never stops. There's activity on the river from early morning to late at night. Pull up a chair and just watch the action.
The apartment has a master bed with en-suite a further twin with large fitted wardrobe and in the third bedroom a small double with single above. The en-suite has a large shower suitable for the elderly and has an optional seat and hand hold for safety.
All rooms (except the bathrooms!) have sea, river & marina views, are light and airy with quality furnishings. Large double glazed floor to ceiling windows feature the whole front of the apartment. You can even cook whilst watching the action.
Our kitchen is fitted with top rated Bosh appliances and is fitted to a high standard throughout with a comprehensive range of kitchen utensils to suit all family needs.
Our bathrooms are smart and modern, white & blue, with shower in the master and bath/shower in the main.
Your car can be parked in our private reserved gated parking area which is situated just below the apartment,

Nice location let down by substandard appartment
Lovely helpful person to meet us.
Bathroom shower dangerously uncontrollable.
Furniture tired and soggy feeling.
We never used the cooking facilities so cant comment.
Very old washer and dishwasher so far too noisy to use when in the apartment.
Dated audio system with no facility for iphone or similar music.
Lots of other little things.
Broken toilet seat.
And lastly the bed was just awful. Too small, too low, old fashioned lumpy and noisy.
For the sake of a bit of investment it could be lovely.
The asset has been sweated.
Superb apartment in Cowes
We stayed at this apartment for a few days -we are a couple , our daughter and 2 young grand daughters.
The apartment is stunning , very comfortable ,beautifully kitted out with everything you could possibly want in a holiday home , wonderfully clean with crisp clean bed linen and fluffy fresh white towels. We had a cot and highchair supplied for the baby and our 3 year old loved having her own bedroom with a fantastic cabin bed. All beds were comfy apart from the sleigh bed in the master bedroom which is very creaky . The views from every window but especially from the main area are amazing . The property manager Graham was especially helpful and came over within 5 minutes when I rang him to ask if there was a highchair available .
We didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning at some point, probably when it isn't snowing and we can then use the balconies.
Fantastic break, calming atmosphere, beautiful location, brilliant caretaker and team - very helpful, wonderful apartment, everything we wanted - planning our next trip! Can we apply for a loyalty card!? Thank you

Wonderful accomodation - ideal location
We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay. The apartment was lovely and clean and home from home with Wi-Fi too! You couldn't ask for more. Extremely comfortable and spacious with views over the harbour, it was a pleasure to come back to the apartment after a long day out and relax. The location was ideal, close to town with lots of places to eat and drink and shop! We would definitely recommend the apartment to friends and family. Thank you Grant and Ellen, we really enjoyed our stay.
Luxury Cowes Seafront Apartment with lift and parking: With one of the best views in Cowes being situated at the front of the popular 'Marinus' apartments on first floor with magnificent panoramic River Medina and Solent Sea views. A true 'Royal Box' position! and one of only three similar properties in the complex. Gated parking for 1 car adjacent to apartment and lift access serving only 3 apartments all with private landings. Accommodation suitable for all ages and ability. Our position next to the Shepards Wharf Marina provides an easy 2 minute walk into the centre of Cowes quaint and bustling town centre with its supermarkets (Marks & Spencer & Sainsbury's Local), wide selection of restaurants and cafes and local individual shops. M&S and Waitress are both local and within a short walk! Easy access to local bus transport if required and located close to both Red Funnel's passenger and car ferry terminals. Great location for walkers being on the coastal path and the Island cycle route. Nearby local historic attractions include Osborne House (Queen Victoria's residential palace) and Carisbrooke Castle (prison to Charles 1st). If you like to relax and watch the yachts this is the place for you. Our complex adjoins Shepards Wharf marina with all vessels passing within 30m in front of you. If you want to explore the island with your family you can also have a great time with a base at Marinus with easy access to all parts of the island whether going on bike, foot or car. 15% Red Funnel Car Ferry Discount on application.
