About Kim Filler
I moved to Steamboat Springs in the summer of 1990. I have had many jobs in town including 'director of freestyle' for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. A 100 year old athletic club that as produced over 60 Olympian winter athletes. I have turned my rental property over to Kim Filler, owner of Condos in Steamboat. She now manages it for me. She will take excellent care of you, the condo & anything else you may need to make sure you have the perfect vacation.
Kim Filler purchased this Condo in 2006
Why Kim Filler chose Steamboat Springs
Like many who have visited steamboat, I came out for a short visit, went home to pack my bags and made the move. I have been so blessed to live in such a wonderful place and thought purchasing a rental property was a good idea. Making the condo a second home, I hope to give my guests the best stay they can have in Steamboat.
What makes this Condo unique
The best feature is the view off the deck. The fact that you are located at the base of the ski area, offers a great view of the mountain and ski trails leading to the base are. You are walking distance to shops, restaurants and the gondola base area. You don't need a vehicle at this location. All entertainment amenities are a short walking distance. But if you do chose to go down town, your are just a short distance away. I think one of my favorite things about Steamboat, is the fact that is has a Downtown Area, seperate from the ski area. You really get a feel for the small town and the history behind it.

My Best Stay in Steamboat Springs
I came here on my vacation to visit my son - who has been in Steamboat for 3 winters now. On my previous visits, I stayed in a Hotel/Motel environment. This was a fantastic change. I was so impressed by the comfort, cleanliness, and true homey feeling. My week long vacation was so much more relaxing by staying in this condo. The ease of getting to town for shopping and dinner out, the mountain events, and further traveling for sightseeing was great. I would definitely recommend this property - the owners and caretakers were friendly and helpful in every way. Wonderful Vacation.
Great condo - highly recommended
Stayed there with 2 adults and 2 kids (8 & 10). Had a great time. Everything you can hope for is in the condo, including all the cooking basic ingredients, and more utensils and appliances than our own kitchen ! It's a very short and easy walk across the street to ski out (50 yds), and straight ski-in.
Great condo - highly recommended
Perfect Spring Skiing
The best appointed condo we've ever visited - spices, condiments, coupons, robes, memory foam pads on the beds, & quality paper products in addition to being neat, clean, well laid out, and newly remodeled. Wendy met us, showed us around, and was very accommodating. There is easy access to the shops and restaurants at the ski area and to shuttle buses for downtown Steamboat. One note: skiing out requires skiing/skating up a slight slope for about 50 yards or walking about the same distance. However, that's closer than riding a shuttle and walking through the base area. We'll definitely be back.
We really loved out stay at this cozy condo! It was very clean and cute. It looks brand new. It was in a great location to all the mountain village ammenities and very close to downtown as well. Wendy the owner met us there and made sure we had evrything we needed. We will definetely come back and would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in steamboat!
The owner was very helpful and accommodating. The condo was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. My husband and I really enjoyed the location. We could ski right out of our unit every morning and the view of the ski hill right from our deck was amazing. Walking to restaurants within the ski area was easy and free city buses were easy to catch to town for more options. The condo unit had many amenities that made our stay enjoyable including a fireplace, king-sized bed, a boot dryer, and all the kitchen gear needed to make nice meals. For the price, you can't go wrong with this unit!
The condo has lovely finishings. We really enjoyed the condo except for one big issue. The biggest problem was the bed was too soft causing back pain. Slept on the sleeper/sofa, but that was also uncomfortable because there were no extra linens or blankets.
The location was good, but would not qualify it as "ski out". This is because you had to walk down two flights of stairs and across a street in order to get to the slopes.
Would like to stay there again, but because of the issue we had with the bed, we won't rebook on our next trip.
