About Glenn Paul

Angie and I live in Georgetown,SC (35 Miles South of Myrtle Beach). Have 3 grown children and getting nearer to retirement every day.

Glenn Paul purchased this condo in 2005

Why Glenn Paul chose High Country & Blue Ridge Mountains

Angie always wanted a place at the beach and I always wanted a place in the mountains. We were finally able to buy both. One at Myrtle Beach,SC and the other at Sugar Mountain,NC.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy the beach in the Spring and Fall. And enjoy the mountains in the Summer and ski season.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We absolute love your condo. Our 3 kids are so excited. It's 49 degrees and pretty windy so it's rather cold which we love. We are going to buy hot chocolate and marshmallows tomorrow. We're looking forward to the Wooly Worm Festival and Tweetsie. I have mentioned your condo to 2 other friends and will forward them your link. I will highly recommend your condo and hope this will be the first of many visits by our family.

Exactly as advertised.

The unit has everything you need and is very comfortable for the money. It could use a lot of updating but it is clean and in a good location.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

Could not have asked for a better stay at this property. Spent Spring Break with 7-8 staying in the condo, had plenty of room. The walk to the slopes was incredibly easy. The perfect distance to come back during the day for lunch and then head back out onto the mountain. Quick drive into town for groceries, dinner, sight-seeing, etc. Glenn was very accommodating with his response time and the condo was in great shape and as described in the photos. Will definitely keep this property in mind the next time I visit NC.

Nice place to stay and play

  • 5 of 5

As always we love to go to Sugar Mountain to ski, and this condo is perfect. It took as about 5 Minutes or less to walk to the slopes which is awesome because you can just park your car for the whole weekend. The kitchen was fully functional, i brought crock pot liners from home, but there also where some there already :) The beds are comfortable, which is unusual for a rental, but blissful sleep after skiing for hours here. We loved the fireplace, its a gas fireplace, but it was perfect for our snowy weekend. Very nice decorated, well kept, will rent again next time we visit Sugar. Thanks for having such a nice rental :)

Wonderful Accomodations

  • 5 of 5

The group I was with couldn't have been more pleased with this wonderful place. Comfortable and cozy without being cramped. Glen made us feel welcome and couldn't have been more gracious. We intended to camp during this time but storms in the area washed those dreams away, however, Angie's Sugar Shack was the found rainbow and pot of gold for us. The only downside? We had to go home. Highly, highly recommended.
