Situated up against the picturesque granite boulders of Joshua Tree Pinto Mountains, Villa De La Collina offers a unique mix of rugged mountain views and modern amenities. Naturally integrated into the surrounding raw beauty, the landscaping of this secluded nest artfully melds with the native habitat.
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Joshua Tree Villa De La Collina and can’t wait to go back. The property was beautiful. Our suite, overlooking the rocky mountains, was very lovely. Other rooms in the villa were spacious, ultra clean, tons of pillows with high-end sheets and bedding. The villa’s pool was enjoyed by us throughout the days as well as nights. We enjoyed the energy of the smooth music flowing through the entire property. It is a great getaway place from the busy city life, to the quite nature. I can’t wait to go back again, it will be like going home.
The place definitely lived up to our expectations.
Had an excellent time and the house was amazing. Spacious.
Had some difficulty getting the spa to work. But, other then that it was the best.
My family loved it.
Some friends and I rented the property for a birthday weekend in July. We never left the house all weekend! Everything was perfect, from the outdoor fire pits, lagoon-style pool and hot tub, to the outdoor grill and indoor seating for 12. Jamie was so responsive and accommodating. We all had such a great time, we may want to make this a yearly occurance!
We loved this property. We took a group of teenage girls for our daughter's birthday. Natasha was such a sweetheart. We ran late but she made sure the lights were on and the place was warmed up for our arrival. The home is lovely and well cared for. The outdoor area is fantastic, so peaceful and the fire pits were great to sit by at night. The girls loved sitting in the jacuzzi with just the glow of the firepit and looking at the stars. The one caveat is that while the kitchen is very nice, modern and cool, it is not all that well equipped if you plan to do a lot of involved cooking. Very little space to store groceries, and we were challanged to mix pancake and cake batter (no bowls). Otherwise, the appliances are all very nice and work fine. There is a nice barbeque outside, although we did not use it. Joshua Tree Park is right up the street, and we spent a great day there hiking, and then coming back to such a nice house was a great treat. We plan to return again.
I booked this place for my bachelor party and we had an absolute blast. It is incredibly secluded (we could be as loud as we wanted) and is extremely comfortable (we went in the middle of July). The outdoor poo l area is amazing with it's fire pits, umbrellas and pool/jacuzzi.
The rooms were comfortable and the BBQ was grilling wonderfully. It is right next to J. Tree park, but to be honest, we didn't want to leave because the house was so comfortable.
A short little hike up the hill behind the house gives you stunning views of the valley where you really get a sense of how secluded the house is.
The people were great to work with and everything was super easy and seamless.
I've already recommended this place to my friends in the LA area and I'd stay here again in a heart beat.
My friends and I stayed for 3 days between July 9th-12th. After making the reservation a review appeared on this website (later removed) from an unhappy guest that had recently visited the house. Items such as there being a beehive and that the spa, ice machine, air conditioning and music system were broken. This obviously concerned my friends and I. I rang Natasha who looks after the property and she went through each point and put my mind at ease. Obviously the real test would be arriving at the property!
We travelled from San Diego to Joshua Tree on Monday July 9th and arrived to the house at 6pm. Natasha was very accommodating with our late arrival and was at the property to greet us. She was friendly and knew the house very well.
We walked around the house making sure all the matters previously spoken about were in good order. The house was immaculate. The spa was working, ice machine had been replaced and was fully operational and the air conditioning worked fine. The music system in the house wasn't working because of a faulty box. Natasha had purchased a brand new Sony stereo system with an iPod connectivity which in our opinion was a lot better and we were able to take it outside when we were chilling in the pool and spa.
The only minor thing is the bees. I don't personally mind bees but two of my friends were concerned that there were quite a few around both waterfalls during the day. There is no hive and they don't even both you in the slightest.
Overall a lovely home and a great place for groups of friends or family to stay.
