Nice little cabin on a hill! We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Eveything needed for a nice visit to the mountains. Was a pleasure working with Jason on getting the reservation set-up. The cabin is convenient to a lot of neat things. Minutes away from Lake Chatuge and a short drive to many things in the Smokey Mountains. Would defineitely rent again!
Great place. We were there on a Mountain Bike Trip, and the location of the cabin was perfect related to the different MTB tracks in the area.
Its only 15 min drive to the Jack Rabbit MTB trails, and just one hour and 15 min to the well know Tsali MTB trails.
There is no mountain view from the cabin porch, but the area is very quiet and we had good cell phone/Date reception.
Jason was very respondent to all my inquirers.
The cabin itself both inside and outside, was in great shape and had all the facilities you normally would expect from a modern cabin.
I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a memorial trip to the NC mountains.
Great location, easy to reach off Hwy 64, very quiet location with beautiful sunsets through the trees. The chalet was well stocked and very charming. Jason was extremely responsive and helpful.
We had a great time visiting nearby Franklin, Lake Chatuge, and driving down to highlands on 64 to see the waterfalls.. we also drove over to the Blue Ridge parkway for the Scenic overlooks.. Cabin was great, and Jason great to work with!
Very nice place for a small group of people or small family of 4. Everything was clean and as described. Thanks so much for a great stay!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the best vacation our family has ever had. Your cabin was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We enjoyed afternoons lounging on the deck and enjoying the quiet peace of our surroundings. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We enjoyed spending our days in Chattanooga, Cherokee, Murphy, Vogel State Park and Helen, GA which are all a short drive from the cabin. Not to mention the vast choices in dinning that the area offered. Most of all, a big thanks to Jason for your quick replies and making the rental process painless. You rock!!! We will definitely be back next year. God bless ;-)
This property is located in Hayesville, NC (between Hayesville and Murphy off of Hwy 64) which is located in Clay County. The city of Hayesville sits at the base of the Tusquittee Mountain Range which reaches heights of over 5000 ft in elevation. Fires Creek & Tusquitte Creek are formed from this enormous drainage basin. Both creeks are Hatchery-Supported Trout Streams and eventually empty into the Hiwassee River. Lake Chatuge is the gem of the TVA lake system. Lake Chatuge has 2 large marinas and a few smaller ones. The Ridges Resort owns the largest marina and has scenic lakeside restaurants and lodging facilities. The Ridges Resort also owns Mountain Harbour golf course which includes a $6 million clubhouse that houses the Pro Shop, Sequoyah Grill (fine dining) and the Cherokee Grill (casual dining). The John Campbell Folk School (10 minutes away) and GA Mtn. Fairgounds (25 minutes away) have festivals, fairs & live entertainment. Recently the HARRAH'S CHEROKEE VALLEY RIVER CASINO & HOTEL has opened, it is only a 20 minute drives from the property. They offer digital games as well as traditional table ones as well, so if your feeling lucky stop in and test the waters.
