Kensington Apartment Rental Photos and Description

A taste of Downton Abbey; classical and grand flat with sumptuous 4 poster bed. This flat oozes opulence & sophistication - a perfect romantic hideout in leafy Holland Park for discerning couples. Stones throw from Portobello, Holland Park & HSK....

Free unlimited wifi available.

The Space:

Holland Park is London's best kept secret, the surrounding streets of White Stucco Facades transcend you to a place of serenity and beauty, with nearby parks in abundance and wide leafy avenues in every direction. The neighbouring Embassy's give you a feel or real grandeur.

The Flat:

Living Room & Kitchen

Picture yourself cozying up in front of a roaring fire in front of a perfectly curated art & antiques collection, reading a book from the endless array on wonderfully comfortable sofas and chairs. The palatial double height ceilings are embellished in ornate decoration with fascinating decoration all around. This really is the height of decadence.

The kitchen provides all the equipment you would possibly need, with elegant dining table in a bay window where you can watch the world go by and ponder your next saunter into the surrounding neighbourhood’s.

Access to Private Gardens

From the bedroom you can walk out into the south facing private gardens enjoyed exclusively by residents of the House.

Suitability

Perfect for the interloping couple keen to experience the joys of West London from the base of this decadent and extravagant 1 bed. The ideal honeymoon pad.

No Children or under 25’s please.

Everything within the flat, including access to the private Garden...

We aim to provide you with the most relaxing and enjoyable experience, so what ever that means for you, we will accommodate. We leave a handbook with detailed instructions of the flat and everything in it, as well as tips for places to go and things to see in the local area.

Notting Hill

With so many options in the surrounding areas you will not be worried about what to do. Maybe you will mosey down to Portobello, go see the sights and find the door that made Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts even more famous in Notting Hill. The bookshop is there somewhere; you just have to find it! And similar ‘gardens fences’ are dotted all over this pretty village, but are often private only available to residents.

The Portobello market runs every Saturday, and encompasses everything from vintage fashion to old sewing machines to antiques and beyond. There isn’t much you can’t find on this 2 mile stretch. The Portobello Green Market is on from Thursdays to Sundays, then up to Golborne Road for more vibey restaurants peppered amongst vintage furniture shops and second hand stores.

Hyde Park & Church Road

To the East you have one of London’s largest landmarks, and arguable most historic. Hyde Park has long been the place to be seen, backing on to Kensington Palace Gardens (available for visiting). You can take a boat on the serpentine and enjoy the Queens Pelicans, or hire horses to trot round the grounds. In and around Church Street you have billionaire’s row, marvel at the beautiful embassies and now private mansions. Just down you hit High Street Kensington, shop until you drop or just hop form coffee shop to bakery to restaurant. The choice is yours!

Walking distance from Holland Park, Notting Hill Gate and Shephard's Bush tube stations and countless buses that will take you to central London (Oxford Circus & Soho) in less than 30 mins.

Beautiful decor, excellent location

  • 4 of 5

This truly special and spacious Holland Park apartment filled with art, antiques, and books, is on a quiet residential street lined with handsome town homes of uniform architecture. It is a short walk to the local high street and to lovely Holland Park. The kitchen was relatively large and well set up preparing meals at home. The manager answered all questions and was helpful. We plan to return and would definitely recommend this flat to friends.
