Cozy and Clean Cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for two nights while visiting relatives nearby. The home is very cozy and and has everything you need for comfort. The house was very clean and very well kept. Beds were also very good condition and comfortable. Owners made themselves readily available if needed. Will definitely stay here again.

An excellent quiet place to relax

  • 5 of 5

Me, my wife and my mother-in-law enjoyed our stay at this beautiful vacation house. The house has all the furnishings needed and more. We needed to rest and have quality time; our goal was achieved. Also discovered some small local stores with good bargains and a food market with remarkable fresh organic fruits and vegetables - Guido's. The foliage was beautiful ! We'd like to return at another time.

Beautiful Log cabin

  • 5 of 5

Five of us stayed in this cabin comfortably for a weekend wedding nearby. The home is clean, well stocked with essentials and very cozy. Our favorite part was the new fire pit out back. Surrounded by trees, we spent most of our time out there. Perfect for morning coffee and evening s'mores. The house is in a gorgeous setting. It's also very close to Great Barrington as well as the town of Hillsdale. Saturday morning, out on the road near the house, we saw a mama bear and her cub! We had a great visit and would recommend this house to any one. The home owners are also wonderful!! So sweet and accommodating.

Peaceful slice of heaven in the Berkshires

  • 5 of 5

Wow - such a lovely chalet, beautifully designed, lovingly decorated, and meticulously kept. The kitchen is well supplied, and anything we said, "Gee I wonder if there's a ..." Sure enough, it was there. So much room! There was just the 2 of us, but 6 could very comfortably be accommodated for sleeping and dining and just hanging out. (Plus more with the fold-up cot on hand as well) The grill on the deck was great and we cooked up a fine lunch. The stone patio/firepit area in the back is simply gorgeous and with plenty of room for lots of guests. (There's a grill back there too)

The location is quiet and secluded, with barely a sound around except for some passing cars. But yet very close to restaurants, supermarkets, excursions, antiques, etc. We spent quite a bit of time on the Mass. side, browsing around Great Barrington -- it's only about 7 miles away. There's even a zipline place (Catamount) just down the road.

Thanks Bill & Eileen, for opening your wonderful home to us. We're eager to come back next year. And thank you for the chocolates!

Comfortable stay at a beautiful lodge

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this house! The house is even better than in pictures - I found it more spacious than expected. We found many details that were well thought through: a/c + plenty of fans ensured we are comfortable, good lighting, dark blinds in all bedrooms, comfortable beds. Kitchen has everything you need to cook, there is a new Weber grill on the front deck and a beautiful new patio with a fire pit in the back. We are considering coming back in the winter!

Great cozy cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay in the all wood A-frame cabin. It felt like we were in a fairy tale forest cabin. Everything we needed was there, including window air conditioners and portable fans, paper products, extra sheets and towels. We enjoyed hiking and dining in Great Barrington. The stone back patio is a gorgeous outside space.
