Enchanting villa on the outskirts of the village of Valldemosa. The property consists of of a luxury cottage with master and twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living and dining area. A mere 60 yards away two sets of beautifully restored caravans, that make up two separate independent guest houses, each with their own bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, situated with their own terrace areas with stunning views. The property boasts 35 hectares of grounds, in a privileged position, exclusive to two properties we manage and their guests. These grounds consist of beautiful scenery, lookout points to the sea and the port (20 minutes away) and even an illuminated path to a unique theater, set harmoniously in the middle of the forest trees. Guests can also enjoy a natural pool with great views, barbecue area and vegetable garden. Wi-fi is available, and we can offer private charters on one of our restored vintage sailing boats, guaranteeing a great day out.

Valldemossa is one of the most sought-after areas of Majorca. It is stunning to look at, and offers many shops and restaurants for visitors. The mountain landscape hides many paths and are real treats for hikers. The village is connected by a regular bus into Palma or along the coast to Deia and Soller and there is a taxi too. Simply put, neither words nor pictures can convey accurately the beauty and peace this World Heritage site can provide you and your company in this unique setting.


The main house holds 2 bedrooms with air conditioning. The main bedroom has a double bed while the guest bedroom has two singles.

The two caravans each hold bedrooms with double beds in each.


The cottages bedrooms each hold their own en-suite bathrooms. The caravans each have their own bathroom as well.


The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, dish washer, kettle, and really everything one could need for even the more adventurous cooks.

Living Rooms:

The living room holds a television, sound system, various books and even board games. There is also a writing desk and sitting and dining area.


The terrace has a lovely seating area, as well as a dining table for outdoor meals.

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:

Weekly cleaning is included in the price. Towels, linen, and basic amenities are also included.


Barbecue, Private Pool, Parking, Garden.

We would recommend staying here without any hesitation. This was one of the best vacations my wife and I have had and I don't believe that words would do the experience or the level of service we received justice. The location is breathtaking. The cottages are charming and located on a huge plot of land in the most beautiful part of Mallorca - must be at least a couple of hundred thousand sqms of land if I had to guess, maybe more - we stayed for a week and unfortunately didn't see it all. Apparently there's a small lake that we missed that you can swim in - next time. There isn't a neighbor for miles and you have mountain views from the cottages and sea views from the land that are eye popping. Some of the land is used for farming vegetables and there are stables with horses and goats and sheep that graze and forage. It was something else waking up in the morning and seeing it all around us or dining in the garden at night and watching the sun set. The facilities were top notch - including bed sheets, kitchen, washers etc. were high quality, clean and in excellent condition. plenty of closet & storage space as well. . You're also about 15 minutes from Deia and 5 minutes from the center of Valldemossa by car. Both are gorgeous villages. Most beaches are between 20 minutes and 1 hour away depending on where you decide to go & philip will have great recommendations for restaurants, beaches, places to see and things to do. It goes without saying that Philip is a fantastic host. He was always reachable and attentive to our needs and really went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we were left alone for the most part. He's also someone who clearly loves the property and living in Mallorca. You really can't go wrong staying here.

A secluded cottage in beautiful countryside, but..

This fine property, plus the unusual feature of having two usable gypsy caravans in the grounds, is just 4 minutes drive away from the beautiful town of Valledemossa, but is completely private and secluded - as peaceful a setting as one could imagine. Everything in the house is clean and in good order though in the heat of summer, the focal point of life is the verandah, which is well appointed for meals and relaxation.

But, we regret that during our 7 days' stay, there were several drawbacks, centring primarily on the kitchen. In turn, the power failed (not over a wide area - just ours) but was restored after a phone call ; then the gas ran out (and, not having been briefed on the location of a replacement tank, a lot of time-consuming re-arrangement became necessary). The dishwasher then packed up with consequent extra work. One very irritating aspect was the prevalence, in huge numbers, of wasps. Despite placing some food in a separate area to lure them away, our meals were badly disrupted by these annoying predators. The children especially found them quite distressing. We would suggest installing an electrocutor in order to combat this menace. Mention of children brings me to the last point - the pool. There is a plunge beside the verandah, but it is very small. The larger pool, fed by natural water, was unfortunately never full, and, one has to say,did not appear too appealing because of its green water.

In general, we had an enjoyable holiday but the points mentioned above did detract somewhat, but should not be too difficult to put right.

Owner's Response: I'm really sorry about the large amount of wasps and the level and cleanliness of th water in the large pool; last summer we had minor management problems but I can guarantee that it has all been solved now. Since October 2015 we have new on site management with ample staff for cleaning, gardening and maintenance. We are also fully autonomous from the local electricity grid now and 100% solar powered. This year we have had to fashion shoots for top international labels and a constant stream of holiday rents and not one single problem or complaint.

Car: recommended


Puerto de Valldemossa is only 15 minutes away and is a pleasant dip in the sea. Cala Deia is 20 minutes away and is very popular.


The nearest golf course is about 10 minutes drive.

How to get there

Palma is only 20 minutes away, and the airport another 5, so driving into the islands capital can be done quickly.


Valldemossa is a two minute drive, and there are many points of interest very near-by. Again, Palma is only a 20 minute drive
