The trendy neighborhood is very nice, quiet and safe and you get a small impression of the everyday life in this lovely city.
This apartment was a cute little place. It was on a quiet street down from the canals and shopping. You could walk anywhere you wanted to go although we bought a bus pass and got there a little quicker. The apartment was everything it was described. It was on the 4th floor, and although the stairs were a little steep to get to, Marielle helped me get my rather heavy bag up (I've been traveling for a month). Marielle was very accommodating when my flight came in later on in the evening. She went over the binder she had created for guests as to where the best places were to go. They were really good as I had gone to a few of the places that she recommended. The bed was really comfortable, and the apartment was very clean. I would love to stay here again if I ever travel back to Amsterdam!
Location is great, quiet street with a grocery store, tram stop and cafes around the corner. Airport bus stops 5-10min walk away.
The apt was clean and the beds were comfortable. Super fast wifi.
Yes, the stairs are steep and not recommended for people with mobility problems or large suitcases. But it adds to the Amsterdam charm.
Check in and check out were very easy, and Marielle was very helpful and responsive.
We enjoyed this cozy, very clean, nicely appointed walk up apartment situated on the 4th floor, which is centrally located to all main attractions in Amsterdam. It is within walking distance to the tram which can take you directly to Central Station or other points of interest. Marielle was very kind and welcoming. She provided great information regarding restaurant and other helpful interesting recommendations. We would stay there again if ever we return to the wonderful city of Amsterdam.
The apartment is clean and modern, perfect for two people. Within 200m is a supermarket and it's quick to find restaurants in any direction. We enjoy walking and easily explored the city on foot. We like to get way from the tourist areas and this apartment is well situated for that, as well. The bike shop around the corner (bike 4 u) and a restaurant recommended by Marielle (Riaz) come highly recommended from us, too. Being on the 4th floor of a spiral staircase, some may find it difficult to access, but we had no problems even with groceries in hand.
This studio was modern, light, bright and exceptionally clean. Marielle was warm and welcoming and left a selection of great recommendations for us, from restaurants to boat trips to markets. Located just out of the main area of downtown Amsterdam, but at easy walking distance from many key attractions, mostly 15 mins away on foot, and only 30 mins right down to the old centre, station and west docks (and of course you could easily hop on a tram!) Supermarket and many restaurants and cafes nearby. Simple but adequate cooking facilities. Really easy to get to from the airport on the 197 bus which stops a few minutes away. It was a quiet haven to come back to after tramping the streets and seeing the sights. We would have preferred a double bed, but we knew what we were getting from the clear photos. Not for people who are faint hearted about stairs....but that is Amsterdam for you!
