The village of Le Thuit is very well located: 10 minutes away from the world-renowned town of Les Andelys, famous for its XII century medieval Château Gaillard and its half-timbered houses with typical Normandy architecture and only 45 minutes away from the impressionist city of Giverny were Claude Monet passed away, 1 hour 20 away from Paris and 2 hours 15 away from the D-Day beaches.
This old-style XIX century orangery, is now a villa restored by an architect in 2013. It is part of the chateau farmhouses located inside the parc of the Château du Thuit. This parc, made up of restored and old-style buildings (Chateau, stable, henhouse, cowshed) is a collective family ownership managed by our family. The whole parc is walled with a total size of 116 610 m2 (11,6 hectares) allowing for walks in total security. Tennis and an outstanding viewpoint on the Seine valley are available.
The 275m2 orangery is equipped with games for teenagers (table football, trampoline, ping-pong table, board games) and a baby set (games, baby chair, baby bed).
Composed of 2 living rooms, a dining room for 14 people (12 standard), an open-plan kitchen, 3 double beds bedrooms with private bathrooms, 4 different children’s bedrooms, this orangery is perfectly suited for 12 people but can host up to 14 (a bed-settee in one of the children’s bedroom can change the room into a “dormitory”). The ground floor “dormitory” room is usually set up as a play room for teenagers (stereo, radio, home cinema + screen, board games).
Outside, the villa gives direct access to a 2 hectare orchard planted with apple, plum and cherry trees.
Perfect for 2-3 families of 2-3 children each, this villa is ideal for those who want to share a welcoming, friendly and modern space within a family owned parc in a region worth being discovered.
