Neat home in winter wonderland

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this house for our ski vacation at Angel Fire. We were about 10 minutes from the slopes. The house is really cool! You can sled nearby (walking distance). The price is right and the house was very nice! We'd stay again. Note - no microwave.

Owner's Response: Thank you, and we are glad you enjoyed your stay here! Our home is cozy for families, couples, or groups and offers a quiet retreat for relaxing getaway anytime of year. We have added a Rotisserie Toaster Oven, for heating things up quick, without ruining the nutritional value of the food like microwaves do. We hope you will return again!

Peaceful retreat!

  • 5 of 5

This property had everything we needed for a family of 4 (kids ages 4 & 7)to enjoy a peaceful retreat in the mountains. We spent 3 nights at this home and enjoyed 2 days of skiing in Angel Fire. Though the property is a roughly 10-minute drive from Angel Fire, it was worth it to enjoy the amazing sunrise each morning. Additionally, we found that eating dinner in Eagle's Nest at Calamity Jane's was more enjoyable and convenient than other restaurants in Angel Fire.

This home is fully equipped with TV/stereo; however, we never used them. We enjoyed playing games instead. The two bedrooms had a queen bed and there is one nice sized bathroom. The owners left a very helpful manual to assist w/ check-out, TV operations, Wi-Fi, etc. There is a heater, but the wood burning stove effectively warmed the entire house and the thick adobe walls are well-insulated. We truly enjoyed our stay at this home and would absolutely rent again.

Perfect Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our family which includes the family dog. The thick walls retained the heat very well and we were extremely comfortable in the house even with the freezing temperatures outside. The wood-burning stove was a nice touch. The views are spectacular! We were close to both Angel Fire and Red River so we were able to explore both ski areas. The yard was fantastic for my kids to play in the snow. I have recommended this house to my friends.

Unique; my cup of tea.

  • 5 of 5

We had an awesome stay. When choosing a VRBO I am looking for a place that is clean, with reasonable rates and is pet friendly. Having 4 fenced acres for my dogs to run is one reason this property is unique. The amazing indoor plants, high ceilings and 14 inch walls are an extra delight . We love to cook and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Having high speed wifi is not important to us. However, if you need it you will have no trouble getting online. The house was very clean and had lots of extra linens. In the morning I loved drinking my tea while looking out the windows watching the birds and our dogs. We plan to return and want to thank Randy for a great vacation.
