In the house there is a nice collection of books and guides, also in English, which you can apprfittare.
What a great place to stay! The picture window was like a painting with the harbor in view with the coming and going of ferries and small vessels. The place was conveniently located a few hundred yards from the dock. The journey to the residence did involve walking uphill but it was easily managed. There was a very modern kitchen that included a wash machine, dish washer, full refrigerator, and stove. The bedrooms were quite roomy and the bathrooms were also fine. The place was nicely furnished and there were many interesting art and history books to peruse while relaxing. There was a short walk to the funiculare which was the best way to get to the town of Capri. However, the funiculare stops early and you may need to get a cab back down the hill after a late dinner. We ate most of our dinners in the town of Capri as there were limited choices near the marina. There were two stores to buy groceries. wine, and other essentials in the marina area. Anna, our host representative, was fantastic and very friendly, although her knowledge of English was limited. We had 4 in our party and we stayed 3 nights. This was the best place at which we stayed during our trip to the Naples and Amalfi Coast area of Italy. The price was slightly higher than other places in Capri but this place was well worth the price. We would definitely stay here again on our return to Capri.
This property is well designed and perfectly appointed for a small group. It is on Marina Grande which is quite busy, you have a great view of all the ships, giant and small, loading and unloading the throngs of people visiting Capri. It was easy to grab a taxi from the marina to the center of town. Anna the caretaker was amazing, we never needed for anything, she kept the house spotless, her son Antonio happily helped us get our luggage up the hill to the house. It's quite a hike uphill with luggage, you can also use the porters at the dock. I will rent this place again and again on my return to the beautiful Capri.
This villa is a lovely jewel shining over the Marina Grande. The interiors are done with extreme pride. Everything is beautiful and very high end. From the opalescent glass shower tiles to the fixtures and furniture. Owners treated this renovation like they were going to live there. . The villa also has lovely art.
The location is excellent. We stayed 11/7-11/13 Off season, weather was beautiful and it was very quiet. We love elegant places when most of the people have gone. Our stay was restful, made better by this beautiful villa. Better than a 5 star hotel.
This was our 2nd visit to Capri. We were originally going to book a luxury hotel however traveling with our 3 year old son we decided to look for a rental property with a kitchen instead. I wasn’t very confident that we would find a property that would meet our needs and tastes for clean, comfortable, high-end accommodations. I was definitely wrong. What an amazing property here in Capri. It did not disappoint at all and far exceeded our expectations. We will not hesitate to book this property again if we return to Capri.
Anna the housekeeper met us when we arrived with her son Antonio. Anna and her son were extremely friendly and even though Anna didn't speak English her son did and was able to ensure everything was taken care of. Her son helped us bring our luggage up from the Marina Grande Harbor which can be a challenge if you have heavy luggage. Anna will come as often as you like to clean the house and we could contact her or her son at any point if we needed to reach them for anything. She was so nice to our son also and made us feel right at home the moment we arrived.
Amelia the owner is outstanding, highly responsive and extremely friendly. We ended up meeting her and her husband for coffee one morning in the Piazzeta and they were both delightful people who took time out of their day to share with us some things to do and see along with places to shop (it was my wife’s birthday). Amelia even surprised us with a birthday cake for my wife. What a great treat (along with the bottle of wine waiting upon arrival).
The property itself is perfect. Great location near the Harbor with beautiful views of Marina Grande and the Amalfi Coast (excellent for relaxing out on the large patio sipping wine eating fresh, local meats and cheeses). It is close by the Harbor, Piazza Umberto, several local markets and restaurants and a bus stop. The property has high end furnishings, fixtures and appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, oven and stove), 2 full bathrooms with great showers, excellent A/C when needed, comfortable beds and plenty of closet space if you over pack like we did. It’s very nicely decorated and there are lots of books and some games to keep you entertained. The WiFi worked excellent. And did I mention that patio? Expansive patio with couches, loungers, table and chairs letting you relax and enjoy the amazing views.
We highly recommend this property to anyone including those with high-end, luxury tastes looking for a place to call home!
This Villa is above exceptional! Exaclty like the photos and even more beautiful and pristine in person. Beautiful glass doors, unbelievably clean and brand new!! The kitchen is of great size and the terrace is huge. The sun rise is to the hill to your right and to the left an amazing sunset with a breathtaking view of the marina, Positano and Mt Vesuvius. Just a short block down the hill for breakfast in the marina and there are a few restaurant's right below for dinner with the most wonderful families running them who all speak English. It is nice and quiet in the evening and just a short trip to the Piazza. Very central to all that Capri has to offer. My stay at this Villa was way beyond what I expected and made my holiday that more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying in this Villa. It is a very magical place and I am sure to return. A huge thank you to the owners who were very helpful as to recommending places to dine, shop and sites to see. BELLISSIMO !!
This apartment was so lovely. It is in mint condition. comfortable, close to the port where you arrive. Close to the Furniculare tram to the top of Capri. Close to the private marina to catch any boats for any ocean excursions. The care taker of the property is kind and thoughtful. Our family had the best time on Capri!!! We will be back! grazi!!!!!
Best location to enjoy Capri And Also to Organise excursion to Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi ePositano.
