About the property

Two bedroom, 2 bathroom, cedar clad lodge on the bank of the Hampshire Avon

A luxury Lodge enjoying a unique location, looking down the Hampshire Avon, one of the most beautiful and best coarse fishing rivers in the UK. The cedar-clad Lodge literally sits on a small lake in an elevated location within yards of the river. Stunning sunsets across the river to the water meadows and with an ancient woodland to the rear. Open plan living area and secluded location, free fishing on the lake and one swim on the river, with additional fishing available along with a further stretch of the river at additional cost. Please inquire for full fishing details. The lodge makes the perfect getaway from it all for a romantic break, with country walks literally on your doorstep.

In 2016 we added a Tipi which can sleep an additional 2 guests with the added benefit of using separate access to the lodge for toilet and shower facilities. The Tipi can only be booked when booking Riverside Lodge. Tipi prices are based on 20% of the price of the lodge.

Riverside Lodge:

Important: NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH WALKING DIFFICULTIES OR CHILDREN UNDER 10 DUE TO FAST FLOWING RIVER AND ADJACENT LAKE. CHILDREN OVER 10 AT PARENTS OWN DISCRETION.

Thank you for a terrific weekend. We really didn’t need to stray too far from the lodge; everything is right there to enjoy and the facilities are very well maintained and the information professionally organised ; what more could we ask. Next time we will definitely stay longer!!

A wonderful retreat offering seclusion and tranquility beyond measure

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for along weekend in this beautiful lodge and it was everything we hoped it would be - a perfect place to escape the world for a few days.

The location is perfect right by the riverside and the gardens and pond just enhanced the peaceful nature of the place. The evenings were spent on the decking enjoying wine while watching the world go by. Flying Swans, Geese, sheep and cows along with some very friendly ducks just made the place feel even more at one with nature.

As far as the lodge goes, all of the little details had been perfectly thought out with all that you need basically provided, (except food and drink!) with a little welcome hamper when you walk through the door full of essentials, (Thank you!!)

Safe to say we will be coming back both to this wonderful place.

Thank you.

Lovely location, despite the rain.

Accommodation and Management Team were faultless.

Looking to book for the summer for a longer stay.

When modern technology failed, Richard was especially helpful.
