Welcome to Piccirillo's 'Paradise Beach' Condo. Come stay in our beautiful, newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath condo (Unit #306) located on Seawall Boulevard in Galveston. We are conveniently located on the 3rd floor - - which is the 1st floor of condos, as assigned parking is located on levels 1 & 2. We have a beautiful end unit just steps from the elevator and our assigned parking is only one floor below us, right next to the stairs to our unit! (Photos updated 04/21/16!)

Enjoy a fantastic view of the Gulf of Mexico from your own private balcony. Professionally decorated with all the comforts of home in mind! Bedrooms 1 and 2 have queen size beds, bedroom 3 has feather topped double with convenient trundle for extra accommodations. Prepare your favorite meals in our gourmet, state-of-the art kitchen with all new appliances and more cookware than you'll know what to do with!! Go for a swim in our 100 foot 'never-ending' pool or spend a little time in our well-appointed fitness facility. Breathtaking views of the Gulf and Bay, private lake, and lushly landscaped grounds. Travertine floors, bathroom counters and shower stalls. Granite kitchen countertops, stainless Whirlpool appliances, Delta faucets, high speed internet access. Minutes from Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the Lone Star Flight Museum or the beach! Just 10 minutes from the downtown historic Strand district. Great fishing, shopping and dining all within a few miles of the condo. Whatever it is you're looking for, you can find it minutes from our front door. Please note that our condo is located along the Seawall. Though there is a beautiful ocean view and you can access the water across from the condo, there is no sand beach directly in front of our condo. The nearest access is about one mile in either direction. There are all types of beaches to suit your needs. See and click on beaches for all the details!

NOTE: Our minimum rental age is 25 and is strictly enforced - - there are NO exceptions. If you are not 25, please do not submit an inquiry asking for an exception. Since many OCEAN GROVE owners live on site year-round, we rent only to families and/or married couples over the age of 25. We do not rent to groups of singles or college students or for special events/parties.

Note that holidays and special event times may require longer than the minimum stay noted for the travel season.

About Lyn/Owner & Manager

Conrad and I met in Paris, France and always had a passion for travel and experiencing new places and people. Although we live and work in Indiana, we love to travel with our two girls, when possible. As they have gotten older, getting away has been more difficult so we decided to 'share' our home with other families who love to 'get-away' too!

Ocean Grove is SO convenient to the beaches, the night life, historic sightseeing and family activities, and it's NOT 'in the middle of it all'! There were NO hassles getting around, making it seem like the perfect location. It's very quiet/private - - you feel like you are at home instead of in the middle of all the 'hub-bub' of prime vacation season. You are only 5 minutes from any of it - - when you want it - - and can escape to peace and quiet when you don't!

What makes this condo unique

When we decided to share the condo with guests, we looked back on our experience when renting condos from rental agencies and even individuals. What became clear is that most people don't worry about the 'details' that can make the stay truly special. In deciding how to equip our home, we looked at it from the perspective of 'what would WE want if we were staying here?' That lead to tons of extra amenities and special surprises that truly are not common among vacation rentals. We hope you will enjoy the thought we have put into making this the most unique, hassle-free vacation experience you will ever have!

The condo was perfect for our trip

We enjoyed our visit to Galveston and the condo had all the amenities we needed. It is a good distance from downtown Galveston / The Strand, much closer to Moody Gardens. Dinner at Jimmy's on the Pier was an easy walk. Thanks for offering a great place to stay!

A lovely and comfortable condo with panoramic gulf views

After viewing many condos and beach houses , I chose this one to best meet my needs for a weekend with adult children and grand children. It did not disappoint-- nicely decorated and furnished in beach themes to create a very relaxed atmosphere. Everything you could possibly need is provided including washer/dryer (certainly came in handy). Lynn, the owner, was readily available for some questions I had before and during our stay, and she ensured our needs were met. I would give this condo a 9 for location, comfort, and amenities. The only suggestion I would give is to consider replacing the tall bar type table and chairs on the balcony. Probably because of the gulf air and winds, the chairs are quite unsteady. We used the canvas chairs we brought from home to enjoy sitting out on the balcony to view the gulf. Although we spent most of our weekend on the go--Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier, beach, etc., it was lovely to come to our "home away" for the late afternoons and evenings and relax at the pool or on the balcony.

Beautiful property with a great view!

This unit is wonderful, very cozy with lots of amenities. Has a great view and location! One thing we wish we'd known beforehand is we could not set the thermostat below 74° during peak season. The unit sleeps 8 & we had 7 in our party. Some of us were ok in 76° (because the AC set at 74° doesn't keep up with the heat outside so the temp inside could go no lower than 76°) but most of us were too hot. Also- we are asked to put away garbage, but only one bag was provided to us for 7 of course we had plenty of garbage. So you may want to bring extra! If you're using both available parking spots, one of them is quite a walk. There are no carts for transport of luggage and the elevators do not have AC. The "extensive spice collection" is actually not extensive at all, it is really just the basics. But we are also very experienced cooks, so maybe we're used to something different. If you want something specific or unique, bring it yourself. Also- the lock on the door is set and timed to coincide with the check in times and departure times. We could check in no earlier than 4 pm and out no later than 11 am. But the lock tried to lock us out of the unit at 10 am. Maybe it just needs to "spring forward". Thankfully we were still in the unit packing up so we could let our family in, but it would have been a real pain if we'd been locked out from our belongings! These are minor issues however, over all, the property is amazing, pool is great and property was quiet too! Not sure I'd stay again because I like to sleep in a chilly room and I want the check out time to be accurate, but the host and the unit were both wonderful!

Family getaway

The condo had a fully equipped kitchen and was very nicely decorated. The balcony was great for having coffee and watching the ocean. The condo was close to everything, but not in the busiest area. The pool was well maintained and was always inviting. We were a group with a grandmother, 4 adults, an 18 yeat old and an 8 year old. I would definitely stay here again.

Ocean Grove condos

We had 4 adults and 4 children. It was very nice with balcony looking to the beach and swimming pool. It was within walking distance of a few places, which we enjoyed very much.

Not Maid Right!

Check in time was set for 3 o'clock and when we arrived at 5 o'clock there was a car parked in our assigned parking spot. We had only printed the one pass because we were not taking 2 cars on our trip. We called the condo owner immediately and was told there was nothing that could be done till the morning because it was Sunday. Then as we entered the condo there was someone in there....the person called out "hello" rudely and did not identify themselves until I said, "I believe check in time was 3 and we are here at 5". The response was, "we are still cleaning," and then something about lunch being late. The two women finished what they were doing and left with a quick apology. I do know this was not the owners fault, but a problem with the service. Still not a good way to start our vacation. Then there are a few amenities that could use a little upgrading: the mattress in the master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable and resulted in no good nights sleep, the kitchen sink drips and has a note that you must turn the handle to an awkward position every time to get it to stop, the sliding glass door was very difficult to open and shut, the plastic shower curtain in master bath had mildew in the corner. Despite these issues we still enjoyed our stay, however would not recommend this place, nor will we stay here again.
