I thought the stay was going well, although ran out of propane while cooking, was not told there was an extra one, and the only way to communicate with the owner was via email through VRBO which does take some time to get a response, so we purchased one, not a big deal, During my stay I had to fly to my sons navy A school graduation, and my husband had to leave three days early to return to work with one of my three children as she had to leave earlier for cheer, I had my sister come up, which she came on the wrong day, and had her daughter with her, I wasn’t going to make her drive all the way back as she came late, so she stayed the night and left in the morning, , but then I had to scramble to find an alternate person to stay with my two remaining children so it wouldn’t shorten their stay, and also because we wouldn’t get a refund for the remaining three days if we just left. I thought all was fine, I returned the Saturday ( the day before our departure) my baby sitter, which was my two nieces, left, I took my kids to whales tale for our last day there, we packed up the next day, I cleaned everything, even bathrooms and kitchen were spotless, I thought for sure the owner would be impressed with us, but I then get a bill for $1250, stating I had unauthorized people at the condo and an unauthorized car. I explained in the beginning what I was doing, I didn’t know I had to give him every detail of every day of our stay. I thought taking very good care of his condo, like I would my own home was good enough. I wouldn’t recommend renting from this person, as he is just looking for ways to charge you extra.
