About the property

7 Bedrooms, 7.5 Baths, Sleeps 22

This stunning home is dripping with mountain elegance; from the gorgeous chandelier to the uniquely beautiful granites throughout, no expense has been spared to make this home the ultimate luxury mountain retreat.

Immediately upon entering the home, you will notice the artisan finishes that abound. The chandelier that greets you is made of extraordinary hand carved wood, the floors are the finest quality and finish, the custom cabinetry in the kitchen is astonishing, and the granite is magnificent.

Starting on the main level, the living room boasts a fine rock fireplace and phenomenal views of the ski area. The dining room offers seating for 12, and the kitchen has everything needed to prepare a gourmand feast. With its 2 dishwashers, warming drawer, gas range, and ample counter space, this kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. Also off of the main level is the first master suite. This room offers a king sized bed (2), a full sleeper sofa (2), a fireplace, a wet bar area, a Jacuzzi tub, and a steam/rain shower. In addition, this level offers a very nice balcony/deck area with great views of the skiers coming down the slopes and an outdoor BBQ grill.

Down to the lower level, you will find a well-appointed family room, offering fireplace, kitchenette, dining area, and pool table. Off of this room is another master suite offering a king bed (2), fireplace, private bathroom with dual sinks and dazzling granite, and million dollar views. Two more master suites can be found on this floor, each featuring a king sized bed (4) and a private bathroom. Down the hall is the ultimate child's dreamland; a bunk room offering two sets of bunk beds, one with two queens (4), and the other with two twins (2). This room also has a private bathroom ensuite. Off of this room is a separate game room, perfect for the kids or the whole family. It offers both a Nintendo Wii and a PlayStation 3 with popular games such as Guitar Hero.

On the upper level are two exceptional master suites. Each one offers a king bed (4) and a uniquely remarkable ensuite bathroom. Above this level is a crows nest outlook with extraordinary views of the ski area. There is also a wet bar on this level and a full sized sleeper sofa (2).

The crowning glory of this home is naturally its location. Directly on the ski slopes with immediate access to the lifts; ski-in/out has never looked so good! The exact location will be about 100 yards up the upper round about run, just above the Lumber Jack Lift.

For your convenience, this home does offer an elevator that serves each floor except the crows nest. In addition, WIFI and Cable TV are provided free of charge. There is a free shuttle available from the property into Copper Mountain Village, but it is important to note that the shuttle only runs during prime dates. Check with your reservation specialist if you have any questions regarding the shuttle.

Every detail of this home is astonishing with its attention to detail and artisanship. The stunning mosaic tiles of the kitchenette, the sink carved out of a stone, the copper accents on the exterior of the home; every room in this home offers something to surprise you.

We loved staying here. Nicely accommodated 6 families (23 people total). Had a fantastic ski time - grab view, ease of ski in/ski out and nice days. Wonderful place! We hope to return!

Reviewer Comments:

This is our family's third time at Copper Mountain and second time renting through River Ridge Rentals. Again this year, our stay was absolutely perfect. The house was extremely well equipped, and all of the bedrooms offered great privacy. The view from the house was absolutely amazing and perhaps the best feature was the location. Lumberjack Lodge is directly on the Lumberjack lift, offering the absolute best in ski-in/ski-out accommodations. River Ridge Rentals is extremely customer friendly and will do anything they can to guarantee a wonderful stay, I highly recommend and would book again.

Great house, perfect location, excellent views

  • 5 of 5

Our group stays in Lewis Ranch every year for our annual ski trip. This was our favorite location, right at the pick up point for the Lumberjack lift, very easy to ski down to Union lift as well. The upstairs balcony has a great patio with bbq grill, that overlooks both the ski area as well as the mountains behind it. We also liked the amount of king suites with private bathrooms. This setup is perfect for large groups of couples like ours. The bunk room is large, and has an in-suite bathroom as well.

The only things I'd suggest is a ping pong table (possibly in the garage), and next time we'll want to get some hot tub cleanings during our stay. It is a nice spot to relax after a day of skiing, but with large groups, it becomes unusable after a couple days of use.

Beautiful mountain home...

  • 5 of 5

Our family has rented home several times, and this is our favorite so far. It was a great floor plan, with really nice large bedrooms, each with a full Master style bath. The kitchen was well stocked and convenient. The bar/game room worked out well in the basement. We would stay again.

Excellent house

  • 5 of 5

We spent the July 4th weekend in this home with 6 of my grown-up siblings. We had 9 kids and 12 adults and it was the perfect house and perfect space. Love the set up of King bedrooms with attached bathrooms. We didn't have to have the awkwardness of sharing bathrooms. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The large kitchen was excellent for everyone to gather for meals. The large deck provided great space for my sister to have a small yoga class in the morning and brother-in-laws to enjoy a few drinks in the evenings! Good location for hikes right out your back door! Copper had lots of activities for the kids.

Thank you!

Great Summer Family Reunion

  • 5 of 5

Our large family stayed here during the week of July 4th --- the house is wonderful. Plenty of space for everyone to have some privacy, but great common areas for meals. Views are spectacular (better than other homes nearby that face up the mountain), and the balcony proved to be a great spot for drinks after a day of fun on the mountain. Center Village is an easy walk down, but not for the faint of heart coming back (we used a car to shuttle back the older folks). Overall, a great place to stay in Summit County.
