About Alece Ronzino
A New Yorker changed by Africa, I love calling Nashville home now. I've got a serious case of wanderlust, having traveled to 30 countries and lived in South Africa for 13 years. I talk with my hands, dance in the car, drink bourbon, and laugh loudly. I use my words to make a living and to (hopefully) make a difference...
Why Alece Ronzino chose East Nashville
Live it up in Nashville, then head back to your cozy urban retreat for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Remember that, being so close to downtown, it's an urban neighborhood.
If you're a new user on Uber or Lyft, you can get a discount on your first ride with the following promo codes. (This is a big help if you plan to use a rideshare service from the airport!)
If you're planning to check out a few restaurants, spend evenings on or around Broadway and East Nashville, enjoy some live music, and hit a few tourist spots downtown, you don't need to rent a car. Stick with Uber or Lyft, as the hard-to-find and expensive downtown parking will likely cost you more than the rideshares. Uber/Lyft rides from the house to downtown average only $9-$12!
However, if you want to explore more of Nashville beyond downtown (and, trust me, there is plenty more to experience!), then rent a car as things are spread out. Just about everything is in about a 15-minute driving radius, which isn't bad at all!
Make note, that Nashville does not have an extensive public transit system (at least not yet anyway... FINGERS CROSSED!), and it's not a very walkable city in that there isn’t a natural flow to walk between neighborhoods. The easiest way to get around town is in a car.
