Why Deborah Trout chose Copper Mountain
We all love Colorado and we love to spend time together so we bought ourselves a condo in beautiful Copper Mountain. Our goal is to fill our vacation home with love and laughter, good friends, good food, and good wine; tall tales of big fish and fresh powder; bumps, bruises, brags and boasts; ice cold beer, championship cribbage and endless rounds of Mexican Train. Most importantly, we plan to make many happy memories here and we hope you will too. We happily open our home to you, please respect it and above all, have a wonderful vacation.

Great stay. Many fun things to do in Colorado and Copper Mountain. The unit was clean, well stocked, and beds were comfy. Just one fair warning...the bikes are an added bonus, but don't expect to do any serious mountain biking. They are great for touring around the village. We enjoyed our stay.
So glad you had fun! We hope to see you back next summer or maybe even this winter!
Late Ski Season Stay at Moose Themed Condo
The place was clean and well stocked. It is a short 2 minute walk from the front door to the J-bar which gets you high enough to traverse down to the East Village. On the return, you can ski right to the steps by the front door from making a turn (skier's right) from the bottom of the Center Village area. Showers are excellent and both the hot tub and sauna (community) were very nice. Kitchen had lots of good pots, pans, and plates. Only things that I'd request are: more pillowcases, a stash of coffee for the maker, and a better fix for the double gutter (?) system that keeps tall SUVs from being able to access the covered parking. We really liked the condo and loved the location!!! Thanks Deb!!!
Bill thanks for the kind words. We were just there is weekend and were so surprised there was no coffee...normally we really stock up, sorry. The canisters are full now. I will also talk to the cleaning crew, there should be a pillow case for every extra pillow. Next season when you come back to try out the new sleeper and love seat, I promise we will have lots of coffee ready. If you have a over-sized SUV just let me know and we can get you a B-lot pass...Glad you enjoyed your stay! Hope to see you back again soon! Deb
Cozy place to enjoy the mountain
This was a great ski in ski out location. The condo was well stocked with essentials and close to the lifts. We could tell the owners take pride in their place and want guests to feel comfortable. We will be back. It was nice to enjoy the hot tub after a day of skiing.
Marlene, Thank you for the kind words. We are so glad you had fun!
We hope to see you back again soon!
2019 Spring Break ski trip
We had a very enjoyable stay. We had everything we needed, condo was very accommodating. We had easy access to the village for shopping, food, and a grocery store. Condo with ground level access and covered parking was appreciated as well. We would definitely stay again!!!
Spacious condo with convenient location
My family of four generally enjoyed our three nights at this very spacious Copper Mountain condo that had everything we needed. It is within close walking distance of Center Village and the American Eagle and Flyer lifts to start your morning, and you can ski right back to the condo at the end of the day. The condo is two stories, with a bedroom and loft area with two beds sharing the upstairs. For a family of four like ours, this means everyone is sharing the one upstairs bathroom, unless you want to make the trek up and down the spiral staircase to the downstairs bathroom. This unusual floor plan wasn't clear to us when we read the description of the unit. The condo was clean except for a lot of animal hair that we found throughout the condo, despite the no-pets policy. This was disappointing and aggravated our allergies during our stay and even after returning home. My only other complaint was the time it took to receive our damage deposit refund -- a full week since we departed the condo. While we would normally like to stay again at a condo with this much space and the convenient location, unfortunately we probably will have to look elsewhere for a unit that truly does not allow animals.
Michael, I am so sorry to hear your stay was not perfect. I will alert the cleaning crew about the pet hair and we will have them get into the units as soon as possible, we changed our pet policy recently because so many renters abused the policy. I am be very disappointed to learn renters are sneaking in pets we had the unit deep cleaned when we changed the policy. The cleaning fee is kept in escrow by homeaway and refunded automatically if damage is not reported, they allow 5 days to report damage, I am sure this was the delay. Thank you so much for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to report your concerns. It is our goal for your vacation is always perfect!
A short stroll to the shops and restaurants of Center Village all year round.
Winter guests head out the back to catch the Pitchfork and Gem Lifts for a quick ride over to the Super Bee Quad Chair and a connection to the spectacular bowls and trails of Copper Mountain. At days end you can ski right past the hot tub and back to Timber Creek and you're home.
Summer guests can enjoy fantastic hiking, mountain biking, golf, fishing and horseback riding - not to mention summer concerts, outdoor movies and many other special events in the village.
Copper Mountain in Summit county is just off I-70 and is a wonderful location for a family vacation, as well as acting as a great home base for enjoying the neighboring communities of Silverthorne (Outlet Mall), Dillon (Lake), Frisco, Breckenridge, Vail, Leadville and Aspen (82 miles).
