We purchased this wonderful cabin a few years ago. We have restored and remodeling our place and now it the most comfortable place we can imagine.
We live in Santa Barbara and take our yearly drive to Idaho and with great pleasure and anticipation and what we will see in the way of wildlife.

We just wanted to thank you again for the use of this wonderful cabin. We have really enjoyed having such a comfortable place to come to at the end of our long days. We of course spent a lot of time in the park - saw bear, wolf, elk, bison and the thermal features. We spent a day Whitewater rafting and a day fishing - but one of the main attractions has been this cabin.
If we ever get the chance again we will definitely return.
This house is a wonderful find. Our family reunion went so well here because there was plenty of room for everyone, including one car with a trailer. The kids loved playing in the water and I loved the kayaking opportunities early in the morning when everything was still. The views are great, especially for those who don't live in the mountains and Yellowstone National Park is not far away.
The kitchen is the most complete I've ever found; also plenty of towels and paper supplies.
We saw a moose, deer, bald eagles, a new robin family, and loads of geese with their goslings (all right in the front yard! Wonderful for birders also with ducks, pelicans, and other water birds.
Beautiful luxurious cabin in a secluded lakefront setting surrounded by wildlife. We became acquainted with a fox and a mink that made their homes in the surrounding woods. The fishing was excellent (late September) and the weather perfect. The smallest fish of the dozen or so we caught was a two-and-a-half pound cutthroat, the largest tipping the scale at 5 lbs. Excellent river fly fishing was a short 15 minute drive away. All agreed this is a place we'd like to come back to.
Len and Virginia-
Well, we are back from our stay in you lovely lakeside home and I have to say what a wonderful experience it was! Your place is a dream! We had a very memorable vacation relaxing, watching the wildlife, fishing from the shore, and challenging our kids to multiple family pool tournaments! The location is perfect and we were able to do so much while we stayed there.
Thank you so much for allowing us to experience of Henry’s Lake from the beauty of your rental. We will definitely be in touch again if we are ever coming back to the area (which we are hoping to do).
We came to Idaho for a family reunion and had an absolutely wonderful time! The Cabins location was perfect for us. The cabin itself was wonderful very spacious with lots of room for our family and had everything we needed. Island parks location is perfect for going to West Yellowstone, Yellowstone Park, lots of fishing, beautiful mountains, Jackson Hole isn't too far, we had a terrific time! When we come back we will look forward to staying at the exact same place! Oh and one morning our 7 year old woke up and went on the back porch hollering that he found a moose... We walked out to find a gigantic bull moose in the backyard! Very exciting! But be aware if you have young children letting them play out in the yard or near the lake that you don't know what's in the woods beyond :-)
A great house with everything for your comfort, a great view of Henrys Lake, and quite setting. A few minutes drive to West Yellowstone and the Park. Could not ask for more.
We stayed at this beautiful home for a week in mid June. I wish it was a year! The home is as pictured and more spectacular when you are standing on the deck looking at the lake and mountain views. It was only my husband and I on this stay but you could have easily fit three couples and a few kids without any space issues. We sat on the porch every night watching the ducks, eagles and pelicans. Tried our hand at fishing but didn't catch anything. The cooler nights we enjoyed playing pool in the downstairs rec room.
We went to the park everyday we were there but one. The drive into West Yellowstone was a breeze, no light and one stop sign. It took approx. 30 min. We took one day trip to Virginia city which is a must do for the history buff. The one restaurant I HIGHLY recommend is Boondocks, located about 15 minutes from the house off Rte 20. Best ribeye hands down as well as other fresh homemade items.
The home sits off of a main rte, but road noise was minimal to non existent as it sits to the back of the property. My only Tiny complaints are I would have liked a king size bed in the master, and the fact that the only tv box was in the living room so you could not remotely change channels in the bedroom. We were usually to pooped to stay up late for tv anyway! The jacuzzi tub was great after a long day hiking and easily fit two ;) Thank you so much Miller family for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy this home. The Millers were easy to work with and I would recommend this stay to anyone. We hope to be back.
