Welcome to A Voyageur View © Eagle River, Wisconsin
If you are looking to find the perfect balance of privacy and tranquility in the center of Wisconsin's most vibrant vacationland, this is it!
Enjoy your own private peninsula with 1,056 feet of Lake Frontage, on Voyageur Lake, in the heart of Eagle River's Chain of Lakes.
The land, 1.5 acres, shaped like a uvula, is perfect for swimming, fishing, boating from the 2 private piers, and exploring the great Northwoods!
The house, with its picture windows, boasts outstanding water views on three sides. It faces south with eastern and western exposures providing sun all day, including spectacular sunsets!
A Voyageur View accommodates 7 people (linens provided), and has 2 (newer) bathrooms.
There is a large eat-in kitchen and an attached screened porch 30 feet from the waters edge---a perfect place to watch kids splash around!
On a cool night, pop in a DVD or tune in a ballgame on the Direct T.V. and cozy up next to the stone fireplace. Better yet, roast some marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit under the stars!
A VOYAGEUR VIEW is walking distance to the Lake Forest Golf Club and a health and fitness center.
There are numerous hiking trails in the area (Nicolet National Forest just a few miles east) and a marine for watercraft rental minutes away on Voyageur Lake. With its wealth of abundant wildlife and spectacular sunsets, nature plays a very active role in the beauty of A VOYAGEUR VIEW

It keeps getting better and better. Our 4th year stay (too bad we had to miss last summer).
All of the details were taken care of for us. Thanks for the notes, coffee, and wine. Your cleaning person is SO good. If you ever sell this place, please call us! - The Mooks
We loved the house. Super clean. Breathtaking views. Flat-land property which my father and mother loved as it was so easy to walk around. Everything was very high end. Thank you, Rod.
PS. I want to stay here every year with them.
Our fourth visit. Just the two of us this time with Sleezer, our sleeping bulldog. Loved the stay.
We took the canoe around the bay and captured incredible fall foliage photos.
Place was sparkling clean as always.
Two complaints: First, you are ALWAYS booked----Summer 2015 appears nearly gone. Is this correct? If so, October again please. Also, what happened to Victors Mexican restaurant...we loved that place. Thanks again, Laurie and I had such a good time.
I came to Voyageur View with my two sons and daughter for the first time. Wanted to come in the summer, but the whole summer was booked already. I can now see why.
The house was extremely clean with nice little touches throughout and was equipped with absolutely anything you could possibly need.
I have never stayed on a peninsula before, the views were fantastic in all directions. When the kids went off into town, I walked the perimeter of the property, over and over, just listening to the sounds of nature. I could have done this all day long!! We had a tremendous long weekend.
My family of 5 has been vacationing in the northwoods for the past 5 years- this is the best property we've rented and we are definitely going to rent here again next summer. The property is totally unique- a secluded peninsula where our dog could roam freely is rare to find. It was our own private oasis with a cool fire pit (where we stayed up late into the night), a few different piers for fishing and swimming and a great screened porch where we had dinner on most nights. The house is very updated and fresh feeling which was important- we've stayed at some other properties which felt very lived in and this house did not feel that way at all (it was well furnished and uncluttered). I highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Eagle River. As a bonus the owner is really nice as well.
We love this house because of its privacy and its proximity to all of the action on the lakes. We did our usual tubing from the house dock around Voyageur Lake to Eagle Lake and also took the boat the sand bar on Catfish where we swam for hours.
The house is very well appointed with everything being fresh and CLEAN. We really used the new kitchen this year, cooking most of our dinners at home and eating on the screened porch---We were blessed with warm weather. Had two great campfire nights under the stars. We had another great visit to Eagle River. Thanks!
