You can do all of this and still enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility of relaxing in our townhouse. We are just minutes away from all of these activities but far enough away that you will feel that you are in another world while enjoying all that our townhouse and resort has to offer. Your stay at our townhouse will help to make your Florida vacation a dream come true. Our privately owned, upgraded, 4BR, 3.5 BA Florida vacation villa is located at Regal Palms Resort and Spa at Highlands Reserve. Our Bermuda home is the largest sized end unit at Regal Palms. Located at 308 Verona Ave, we are just a 2 minute walk around the corner to the resort pool entrance & clubhouse. Pool Hours 8:30 am to 11 pm. Later hours in the summer.
The Resort, Fitness Center and Spa...: Regal Palms Resort offers a great deal for your money. There is a fitness center that is free for your use during your stay. The windows overlook the pool area, offering a pleasant view while working out on the equipment machines that are available for your use. There is a hot tub, steam room, sauna, and showers for your use.
The Spa is available by appointment and offers relaxing treatments to make you feel pampered. There are different charges for the services provided. You can stop in at the Spa for a price list and for a look around.
The Restaurant in the Clubhouse serves meals, drinks, and appetizers to be served either inside the Clubhouse or outside on the veranda by the pool---your choice.
There are 2 pools outside, one of them having a kiddie pool area. The water slide and the lazy river are enjoyed by all. Especially with the water temperature 82 degrees Farenheit. There is a hot tub, a children's play area, and plenty of seating for relaxing by the pool.
Banana Jack's Pirate themed Dining/Arcade center will provide enjoyment for all.
Our Townhouse...: When you walk into our townhouse, you will feel as comfortable as you would in your own home. Our new living room set has a Queen size sleeper with an upgraded mattress. We replaced the carpeting throughout our home. There are dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, mixing bowls, toaster, can opener, coffee pot, coffee grinder, etc. We have a full size refrigerator, a built-in microwave, a full size electric stove and oven. There is a pantry closet. There is a small table w/ 2 chairs in the kitchen for additional seating. We have supplied additional items for your use to make your stay enjoyable, such as alarm clocks in every bedroom, a blow dryer in every bath. We have 5 TVs ( one a 50' Plasma 1080p HDTV, two 32' flat screen HDTVs) and 5 DVD players & DVDs. We have a pack 'n play, a high chair, & an umbrella stroller for poolside for baby. We have a couple of lawn chairs for the upstairs balcony so you can enjoy sitting outside in the evening. Our balcony overlooks the resort pool area. We even watched the space shuttle take off from our balcony one night! Free wireless Internet in our home.
Close to area attractions...: We're just 2 miles away from Rte. 192 that has many attractions, restaurants, gift shops and other points of interest.
We're only about 4 1/2 miles from the Animal Kingdom Lodge, about 8 miles away from Disney World and all their theme parks and resort destination roads.
We're about 12 1/2 miles from Old Town, 19 miles from SeaWorld, 20 miles from Wet 'n Wild, 22 miles from Gatorland, 23 miles from Universal Studios, 28 miles from Legoland, 50 miles from Busch Gardens, 67 1/2 miles from Silver Springs, and 77 miles from the Kennedy Space Center.
Like to Shop? We're about 16 1/2 miles from the Orlando Premium Outlets, 25 miles from Mall at Millenia. There are new shopping centers recently built to the south (about 5 miles away) and to the north (about 13 miles away) --- both on Rte 27.
My husband and I live in New England near our family and grandchildren. We just love Disney and always wanted to have a place in Florida for ourselves, family, and friends to enjoy the beautiful Florida climate.

We wanted to find a place close to the theme parks so we and our family could get back and forth from the parks without having to spend much of our time driving. Regal Palms Resort fit our dream of a Florida vacation because it reminded us of the Caribbean Beach Resort inside Disney World. We were lucky enough to purchase our home close to the resort pool.
We had a great time & the property was very nice and an incredible value. We would certainly stay again & will recommend it to anyone whose budget does not allow for a Disney hotel. The unit and the pools were really great! I thought the pools were wonderful, well-heated, so we could enjoy them even in cooler weather. My girls are 5 & 2 and we wished we had planned a "down day" so we could have utilized the property a little more.
We were in Orlando for Adrenaline Dance Convention, held at the Omni. We chose to stay at this condo due to it's close proximity and our ability to cook meals and have laundry available. Everything was as explained at VRBO. Check in and out was easy and the condo was clean and just the right size. The owner was very informative and helpful.
The only suggestion would be to have a few more items in the kitchen such as a large strainer and baking dishes for the oven.

I went to the front desk to inform them of the horrid smell of urine that radiates from the upstairs hallway bathroom. I know that someone manages your property, but they aren't doing a good job. None of the small bedroom tv's have batteries for the remote controls. The sofa appears as if it needs to be steam cleaned. Stained upholstery is not very appealing. The master bedroom shower curtain has mold. The telephone on the kitchen wall is filthy. The hood range light is inoperable and the wall has a hole where the shower rod use to sit. At this point I believe we should receive a cleaning fee for having to clean things before use instead of paying one that doesn't seem to get used for the purpose of cleaning. They may be only doing a light wipe down.
Yes... There was broken glass, a couple of shot bottles that seemed to have been there for some time, cigarette butts, Capri sun straw wrappers..... Just an abundance of trash on both sides of the walk way. Someone came by and picked up most of the stuff after I pointed it out. Gave us some batteries for 4 remotes that had none to begin with and stated someone would be out tomorrow to sanitize the bathroom. I also showed her your patio screen door that was off the hinges and just laying against the glass
Didn't like the following:
- All shower drains were basically clogged...resolved through self- help. Don't expect to show up and be confronted with this type of basic maintenance issue...management company not doing it's job.
- Toilet in downstairs bedroom clogged upon arrival, and cleaning service asking for a tip...what's up with this? Management company/cleaning service should resolve this basic type of issue during cleaning/final prep for next occupant.
- Remote in living room was in non working condition (select button).
- Living room furniture worn...doesn't match with description or pictures in VRBO add. Owner definitely needs to update description and pics. Premium is charged for this unit due to "upgrades" so add needs to match current reality.
- Cable TV box in downstairs bedroom non operational. Basic cable still worked.
- Also, notice on AC states do not lower below 72 or unit will freeze and you will be charged $125.00 to resolve. Again, if owner feels there is a problem with the AC then it needs to be stated in add.
Very clean and plenty of space for 8 people to spread out and relax. They have a fully stocked kitchen, even a crockpot! I was really impressed by the cooking utensils available so that you could make yourself at home. This was the first time we had ever stayed in someone's home as opposed to a hotel, so I was a little nervous about what to expect, but it was a wonderful vacation.
We enjoyed staying at the townhouse during a recent visit to Sea World, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens. Drive to Orlando was about 30 - 40 minutes depending on traffic and it took us an hour to get to Busch Gardens in Tampa. Our kids (14, 12, & 8) loved the pool with the slide and lazy river which tended to be a bit crowded during the day, but great to enjoy in the evening when hardly anyone was there.
The townhouse was very clean and well maintained. There is a Publix supermarket right around the corner and a Walmart Supercenter which is just down the road. The owner is very pleasant to deal with. She provides you with all the information you need and what is located in the area which we found helpful and responds quickly if needed. Overall, we had a great stay at the townhouse. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.
We arrived shortly after check in time, got checked in and headed to the pool! The kids loved the pool, the unit was clean and spacious and everyone had a great time. Stocked with plenty of supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. It is a 20-30 minute drive to all of the Orlando attractions. We visited Legoland and Universal and had no trouble. A Publix grocery store is with in walking distance. I would recommend this location to family and friends!
Centrally located near Kissimmee, Orlando, Tampa, Haines City, Clermont. We're 2 miles south of Rte. 192 and 4 1/2 miles north of I-4. Close to Animal Kingdom (4 miles), Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Disney Market Place, Water Parks, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Legoland, Gatorland, Old Town.
Golf: Highlands Reserve Golf Course is about 2 minutes away---across the street. There are discounted rates for those who stay at Regal Palms Resort. Inquire at the front desk.
There are several other golf courses nearby that can be enjoyed by those who enjoy the sport. Plenty of famous golf courses in the area for the golf lover!
