Hi Linda - Had a great time, and everyone loved the place. We will come back next year. We caught a LOT of fish - groupers, rose fish, tile fish - at 650 ft down. Took about 15 minutes to reel them up, but the kids liked it even if some of the adults' arms were sore. And my oldest son caught a 6'4" tarpon while out night fishing for sharks (no sharks, though). Snorkeling and scuba were very good too. The other house was the shopping/restaurants/bars crowd, while we were in the water most of the time Anyway, thanks for everything. John Lutz.
The place is in need of some repairs and not excuses...fix the door, fix the deck, fix the shower!
The pictures made it look so much bigger than it was made out to be. I was impressed with how clean it was. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the beds were so warn out. It made it very difficult to sleep. Unfortunately I had to sleep on the couch. There is only one tv in the master bedroom. The owner was easily reached when we had a problem with the water. Workers in the area shut it off and didn't tell us. We've rented a few different places from home away over the last 6-7 years, but this would deter me from doing it again.
Linda's rental was comfortable. Park rules a bit over the top, water prohibited near hot tub area a great example - not sure why.
We rented this house for our 10th year anniversary-we got married in Key west. We usually stay in the middle keys, but decided to try something different this time and I'm sure glad we did. This place is very well appointed and Linda is super informative and easy to work with. She recommended a few restaurants that we probably wouldn't have tried otherwise and we were not disappointed !! The "resort" is more like a campground, but everyone was super friendly, and the pool was a great spot to start our Mornings with a swim, there is also a little beach where you can swim in the ocean if you wanted to.And the jacuzzi was a nice place to end the day as it was Oct. and as far as the keys go, a "little" chilly
The view is fantastic, we spent most of our time there on the upper deck just enjoying the scenery, but the house it self is very comfortable ,spacious and extremely clean. My only criticism ( if I HAD to come up with one) is the bed in the master bedroom could use replacing soon .
Thank you Linda for all your information on walks and rentals and especially restaurants. The Square Grouper was fantastic!!!
We loved this rental. Very well kept and clean.
Would love to make it down there again. Like every other week...just kidding!
If you can book this rental you wont be sorry.
This property is in a gated community called Venture Out. The Venture Out staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view we had in this house was awesome! The pool was very large and nice. Be aware that there are a lot of "rules" (some of our neighbors were a little unhappy about that), but if you are looking for quiet and laid-back then it is perfect. Would be nice if the owners of this property would go to the expense of a walk-in shower in at least one bathroom as both were very small and confined.
