The village of Whimple has a couple of pubs a post office church and small shop meaning you don t need to go far to find everything you need. Ideal for those who travel without a car the village s train station links passengers from London Waterloo to the cathedral city of Exeter and the famous Jurassic Coastline. Here you can walk for hours along the historic coast to Lyme Regis and lounge on sandy beaches at both Sidmouth and Exmouth. Other attractions near the cottage include National Trust s Killerton House and Knightshayes Court. The accommodation offers two bedrooms one king-size and one twin bedroom. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and WC. The comfortable lounge which offers countryside views from the French doors offers a TV/DVD and a large family space. The dining room has a large table and chairs big enough to gather around at meal times and large French windows which lead out into the garden. If you decide to stay in and cook the well-equipped kitchen has everything you need; an electric oven and hob fridge dishwasher and microwave. A utility room with a washing machine and freezer are also available in the property. Outside large sunny lawn areas surround the property with garden furniture and a BBQ and ample parking for 2-3 cars.
