This exquisitely appointed 2 story townhome is located at the Villages, a private gated community within the prestigious Mauna Lani Resort and within minutes of the Fairmont Orchid Resort. It has Tommy Bahama and Palachek furnishings throughout, original artwork, custom window treatments, and Asian accents which all give this home a luxurious tropical and tranquil feeling.

This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home has approximately 2200 square feet of interior living space and over 400 square feet of covered lanai. It has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, high end appliances, and a center island with bar stools. The spacious living room is equipped with a HDTV, DVD, stereo system, Wifi, and ceiling fan, and has an adjoining dining area with seating for 6. The living room has a large 3 panel sliding glass pocket door that recedes into the wall and opens the living room to a large covered lanai for enjoyable indoor/outdoor living. The back lanai is surrounded by a large grassy lawn and has a built in outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and seating for 6 as well as 2 chaise lounges. There is an additional courtyard patio off the kitchen surrounded by lava rock, with seating for 4. This is Hawaiian living at its best.

The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed, a TV/CD/DVD, a walk in closet and a master bathroom with a large tub, walk in shower, 2 sinks and enclosed toilet. The master bedroom also has a 3 panel sliding glass pocket door that opens to a private covered lanai. The upstairs guest bedroom has 2 twin beds, a TV, and an adjoining bathroom with a walk in shower. The downstairs guest bedroom has a queen size bed and an adjoining bathroom with a walk in shower. All bathrooms include travertine marble and cherry cabinets and all bedrooms include ceiling fans. The interior also features 2 zones of central air conditioning, wireless internet access, solid mahogany doors throughout, and a laundry room on the ground floor.

The Villages has its own amenities center with a fully equipped fitness center, a lagoon style pool and a heated spa, located within a 3 minute walk out the back door. In addition to that, guests at the Villages have access to the Mauna Lani Tennis and Athletic Center, the Mauna Lani Spa, and at check-in receive a gate access key to park at the private Mauna Lani Beach Club which has a beautiful white sand beach and a protected lagoon, making it ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The Beach Club also has a nice restaurant/bar, lounge chairs, showers, and a place nearby to rent snorkel gear or paddle boards or sign up for scuba diving or a sunset sail. There are also many other excellent white sand beaches in close proximity to the Villages.

Ready to go back....

We loved your house and did not want to leave. It was a perfect home for our family, my kids loved it and my parents enjoyed the quiet comfortable environment when did did not want to go on our family adventures to the beach. The location is great next to the store and the community pool. The house is well furnished, comfortable and having Kathi available is wonderful.

We hope to come back again.

Extremely a great home to rent.

The residence is in an excellent community which is very convenient to golf, beach club, restaurants and shopping. The home is well cared for, clean and very reasonably equipped. My wife and I rate our stay as excellent. We particularly like the fact that the owner has a "go to couple on site" that can assist you should a problem arise or you are in need of assistance relating to matters with the home.

Beautiful, relaxing vacation home

My wife and I were on Oahu for a business conference and wanted to extend our stay in Hawaii by going to Kona. Cynthia's home is a beautiful, relaxing retreat in a fantastic resort community. The home is beautifully decorated and close to restaurants and the beach. The private beach club was fantastic with an onsite beachside restaurant. I went scuba diving with Mauna Lani Sea Adventures which is right next to the beach club. The home is also perfectly located to explore the North Kohala region of the Big Island.

Perfect Vacation Home

Our family rented Cynthia's beautiful home the first week of August and it was absolutely perfect. The home is sooo well stocked, we really appreciated all the touches. The layout of the home worked wonderfully for all three couples. Kathi the Manager was also so helpful and incredibly responsive to questions. I can't say enough....To Cynthia, thank you again for allowing us to rent your beautiful home, we just loved it.

Great vacation rental home!

Our family (my husband, myself, 16 year old son, 19 year old daughter and one friend) just returned from the Big Island and renting Cynthia's vacation home.

It was a wonderful trip and the house was perfect for our family. The location was excellent for day trips close to the home and a welcome retreat after a longer trip to the other side of the island. As suggested by Cynthia and her manager Kathi we stopped off at Costco after we landed and stocked up on food and drinks. We ate breakfast and dinners at the house. The kitchen was well equipped and we also used the BBQ for meals and ate outside. It saved us money and mostly time eating meals at the house leaving us time to maximize our time for the beach and day trips. The house was so spacious and well equipped for our whole family. Having a washing machine was also a big plus too. Our family walked to the nearby pool and we also made use of the nearby grocery store to pick up smaller items. We used the private beach on our first day but never got back there since there was so much to do on the island. We had one small issue setting the upstair thermostat so we called the manager. She came over the next morning and set it for us while we were out on the beach! We would highly recommend this home! The owner and manager were very helpful and went out of their way for our family. We would love to return one day!
