Fowey is a picture-perfect place to explore its pastel-coloured houses clinging to the steep hillside that overlooks the bay and the town of Polruan across the estuary. Many major events take place here every year including the Daphne du Maurier Literary Festival and the Royal Regatta. A range of activities can be enjoyed on the river while surrounding it are wonderful countryside walks and glorious beaches. The town centre is also a delight to wander around with its independent shops delicatessens restaurants and cafes. Nearby days out include the historic port of Charlestown the world-famous Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. On entering this charming property you will find the cosy and attractive lounge. The lounge is a comfy place to relax in complete with TV/DVD as well as views towards the river. The kitchen/diner is ideal whether you re enjoying a big meal or grabbing a quick snack. The modern and attractively designed kitchen area has everything you may need during your holiday including electric oven and hob fridge freezer dishwasher and microwave. Heading upstairs via a steep cottage-style staircase you will find two snug but spacious bedrooms: one double with lovely river views and one twin. There is also a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC which is reached via a step down. Moving outside you will find a small rear yard with utility store with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also additional storage space for storage of surfboards wetsuits or walking boots etc. Parking is available in public car parks nearby (extra charge).
