Nearby are the pretty market towns of Shaftesbury located only 5 minutes away Blandford Forum Sherborne Gillingham and Salisbury all within a short drive. The stunning Jurassic Coast is 45 minutes drive and well worth a visit. Attractions include Melbury Vale Winery which is within walking distance and offers tours and tasting Longleat Safari Park Monkey World Bovington Tank Museum Stonehenge and Compton Abbas Airfield. Stabling: livery available. Alpaca wool is available to purchase from the owner on request. Games facilities: Paintball and archery available for an additional cost to be arranged with the owner. Downhill mountain biking tracks available. Snooker table darts skittle alley and bar available at nearby village hall on Monday and Thursday evenings. Leisure facilities: fly fishing is available at the farm opposite at a cost of 10 per person per day by direct arrangement with the farmer.
