Why MARCO RAPPAZZO chose Castroreale
Villa Malú was built on land passed down through generations of the same family in Catroreale, Sicily. Carmelina Rappazzo inherited the land in 2003 from her parents. Together with her husband Giovanni Rappazzo, hey decided to build a holiday home in their hometown to spend the beautiful hot summers of Sicily with their two sons Marco and Luca. The name Villa Malú was inspired by both the names of their children as Carmelina’s choice. As her sons got older and left home, the family decided that they wanted to share the magnificence of Sicily with the rest of the world! The Villa then became a business venture for Marco in 2015. He added some modern touches such as the heated pool and updated the facilities within. From then on, the villa was open for business! All year round, the Rappazzo family work very hard to revamp maintain Villa Malú in order to ensure their guests have the most comfortable stay with the finest service possible. Book your stay at Villa Malú, your potential home away from home and discover the best that Sicily has to offer!

Well equipped villa with amazing sunsets - we had a great two week holiday and nothing was any trouble for Marco, or his Uncle and Aunt, who looked after us very well during our stay. Thank you!
Wonderful villa with views you cannot take your eyes off
The villa itself has all the mod cons you might expect - and a large pool for refreshing dips during the heat of the Sicilian sunshine. But the star of the show is the location and view. The views are truly far reaching, stretching to distant hills and mountains - down to valleys - and across to the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands beyond. My camera is now full of photos of the beautiful sunsets - with glorious colours as the sun sank over the sea. Nearby to the villa is the pretty hilltop village of Castroreale with a couple of bars and restaurants - and mini markets for the bare essentials. The nearest large supermarkets are around a 20-25 minute drive down the mountain roads. Initially the approach roads seemed a challenge - but we soon learned to enjoy the hairpin bends and numerous gear changes - great fun :-) Lastly we have to thank Marco, the owner and booking manager - who handled our questions and was a great source of information about the villa and local area...And a special mention for Guiseppe, Marco's uncle, who lives within a couple of hundred metres of the villa and is always on hand for anything you might need. A kind and generous man - speaks very little English - but has a PHD in the use of Google Translate !
Thank you for the Amazing review. We are happy that you enjoyed our place and service. It is our mission to make you feel at home with local hospitality. My uncle enjoyed too. Thanks for taking good care of our place as well. I hope to see again next time.
Its an attractive and well maintained property in an excellent location.
We were made to feel at home and couldn't have been happier with the welcome we received from Marcos's uncle Giuseppe.
They were always on hand with useful information on the area and would always be available if needed.
The villa is situated in a lovely spot close to all the amenities you will require but far enough away giving you peace and quiet.
If we were to holiday again in Sicily we would't have any hesitation in staying there again.

We are a family of 6, with 4 children aged 13,12,10 and 6 . The children really enjoyed using the pool every day and it was a spacious, well equipped villa. The spectacular views felt very luxurious and all for a very reasonable rental price. Lots of interesting places nearbye to visit or else just relax every day !
