About this property

Country house located in a hamlet, between Paris and Orleans, former property of the writer Benjamin Constant.
You can enjoy a quiet accommodation with a private garden.
Double beds are 160x200, and single beds 90x200. You have at disposal for the babies, a bed with bars and a changing table.

The house is located in a farm still in activity (grain production), it belonged to the writer Benjamin Constant.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave and induction hob.
You have a bathroom with corner bath and walk-in shower, and a bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 separate toilets.
Rooms 3 and 4 with single beds can be modulated to double beds on request.
The linen is optional (sheets and towels).
We provide tea towels, household products, bath mats, toilet paper.
Animals are not allowed on the floor.

Comfortable house off the beaten track

This is a very comfortable and spacious house adjacent to a working farm and sited a little off the usual beaten track. In no way should that be taken as a negative comment - the welcome from M. and Mme Chenu was warm and comprehensive and I have to say I was barely aware of the daily work of the farm - no extra noise or disturbance at all. We had a private garden with sunshine from early morning to late afternoon and a private drive for parking. The house is comforable and clean with all the expected amenities. The nearest town is Pithiviers, about 11Km south. It seems not to be on the UK tourist destination list, but so much the better for this. There is lots to do and see within a hour’s drive - Fontainebleau is a popular destination, but Briare and Gien and the arboretum near Chamerolles are all worth seeing, and Orléans was only 50 minutes by road. Definitely recommended!

Excellent gîte

Le gîte est fonctionnel, très propre,spacieux et au calme. Le propriétaire est disponible et sympathique. Petits et grands ont beaucoup apprécié le séjour. Nous recommandons vivement.
