This property enjoys a quiet countryside location in the South Hams region of Devon nestled between Dartmoor National Park 6 miles to the west and the stunning coastline of the English Riviera 10 miles to the east. It is one-of-four holiday properties on site the owners farmhouse also sits within the grounds. The area surrounding the cottage has many quaint villages to explore and there are miles of scenic walks to be enjoyed on nearby Dartmoor. Those who want to find out more about the area s history and heritage will enjoy a visit to nearby Buckfast Abbey. The split level property is arranged over three floors and offers wonderfully welcoming accommodation with attractive period features. Four external steps lead to the property s front door which opens into the charming lounge/diner with its exposed beams whitewashed walls and cosy wood burner. Guests will also find a TV/DVD and iPod dock here for their entertainment. A few steps lead down from the lounge/diner to the kitchen where there is an electric oven hob microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Stairs lead from the lounge down to the lower-ground floor where there is a bedroom with a king-size bed and an iPod dock. There is also a shower room with WC. This property is eco-friendly and energy is supplied by a biomass boiler and solar panels. For those who choose to do their laundry during their stay there is a shared utility room on site with a washing machine and tumble dryer the use of which is payable by an honesty box. Outside there is a lawn area with a BBQ and garden furniture exclusively for guests staying in this cottage to enjoy. Guests are welcome to make full use of the range of shared facilities on site which include a fabulous indoor heated pool a veranda with a relaxing sunken hot tub and sun loungers from which guests can enjoy the tranquil rural surroundings along with the neighbouring community woodland. There is off-road parking available for one car.
