Located in the Salamanca district on the corner of the street Count of Peñalver, a few minutes from Calle Goya, while Ortega y Gasset street is a block away. In addition, the property has excellent transport links by bus, and subway, train or taxi, allowing guests to discover the rest of Madrid with ease. The completely renovated apartment is characterized by its adequate space to feel comfortable in each place. The open living room, where are the living / dining room and kitchen. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with everything guests may need during their stay. The two bedrooms are very welcoming, have wardrobes and tv, wifi .This perfect place to enjoy a pleasant stay in is big city. It is a low-floor interior. Equipped with living room / furnished with 1 sofa bed 160 m, tv room. The dining room has a table for 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with fridge / freezer, coffee for a delicious freshly ground coffee or coffee Nespreso, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer / dryer and a large hob with 6 comfortable seats to start the day with a delicious breakfast Madrid. Hi my name is Meiry, I'll be very glad to receive you in my apartment in the heart of Madrid. When we choose a place to visit, we always need a comfortable and a safe place. The Most Important Thing About the apartment is That When you go out to the street You have all the supermarkets, shops, banks, libraries, restaurants and hospitals. In our apartment there are six people can fit comfortable That rally. The services That We Have in the apartment are WiFi, TV, cable connector, full kitchen with everything you need, bathrooms Equipped with clean towels. And everything organized. I am going to have my phone for every thing you need. There is a very famous restaurant in the neighborhood. The neighborhood, El Barrio Salamanca is a really famous street in the center of Madrid. You have the English Court of Goya is at 200-300 foots walking. And in a small time you are in the Plaza Mayor. Many lines of Metro and bus at the next street so if you have to go to the Metro, bus and taxis They leave the apartment right next to. There are three public parking right next to the apartment. You can go to the airport in taxi, bus or subway from the apartment. There no pets allowed, May you not smoke in the apartment and no smoking in the common installations.
Our stay in Madrid couldn't be better.
The apartment is fantastic, is exactly as you can see in the picture, each room with comfortable beds and TV, cable, internet, new kitchen, new and clean bathroom. We were a family of 5, two childs and three adults, and everybody was very comfort into the apartment. The neighbourhood is the best in Madrid, lots of restaurants, very good restaurants (all type of food, spanish, italian, japanese, mediterranean and also american), coffee places, "tabernas", stores for shopping, one convenience store (Alimentacion) in the corner and 4 supermarkets (Carrefour, Dia, Simply, Sol) a few steps from the apartment.
In addition to, Meiry (apartment's owner) is the best host, very special, very kind and always pending of everything, trying your stay be the best. When we get to the apartment she gave us a basket with fruit, chocolates, cookies, nuts, turron and also a wine bottle. As our stay was in Christmas Time, she decorated the apartment for Christmas, making us feel very nice.
The next time we visit Madrid, without doubt we will stay in Meiry's apartment.
The apartment is in a great location for restaurants, cafe's and the Metro. We are traveling in a convertible car so secure parking is important. Parking is close by but expensive at 36 Euros per day. We loved the apartment it is very well furnished and modern. Our cell phones did not work as it is slightly below street level. The owners speak English and were a delight to work with. We would recommend this for up to 4 people. One small issue was they only had 1 pot for cooking though there are lots of frying pans so I would suggest adding a few more pots. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your lovely apartment.

Somos una familia de Sevilla; fuimos el puente de todos los santos, es un lugar totalmente recomendable, tal y como aparece en las fotos. No faltaba detalle y muy limpio. Hay una parada de metro cerca. La propietaria muy atenta y amable. Nos vino muy bien todo los consejos e información sobre la ciudad que nos ofreció su marido a nuestra llegada. No dudaremos en volver.

Salamanca is indeed the poshest part of Madrid, with the best restaurants, the Most Expensive shops, lounge bars and all that you can need! It is Also a very traditional Neighbourhood of Madrid, Where you can still feel how Madrid was years ago.
Salamanca starts east of the Castellana, the main North-South axis of Madrid, and North of the Retiro, the main garden of Madrid (see interactive map of Madrid for more details). With the subway lines 2, 4 and 5, you can get to the city center or the Retiro in less than 20 minutes.
Salamanca is the MOST expensive for rentals Neighbourhood, slightly more expensive than the very center of Madrid: the square meter is 16-17 € / m2 to rent, 5000-6000 € the m2 to purchase a property (read more information on the cost of living in Madrid)
Many expats coming to Madrid for professional Reasons choose Salamanca as it is authentic, very secure, well connected to the city center and to Madrid's business district, full of bars, restaurants, art and architecture, and That the quality of the housing and of the streets is really superior to the kind of quality you can find housing in the city center.
I recommend living in "Barrio Salamanca" if you:
- Want to be close to the center, but not right in it, with the best bars, restaurants and shops Within walking distance
- Live in an authentic Neighbourhood, but With high quality housing and upper-class environment,
- Prefer to live in The most upscale and exclusive part of Madrid,
- Can Afford the expensive cost of living of the Neighbourhood.
On a micro-level, if you want to live in the very part of the MOST exclusive Salamanca neighborhood, Then You Should Consider:
- The "Golden Mile": the South-West part of the neighborhood, the one closer to the center, around Castellana, Ortega y Gasset, and not Further than Goya Principe de Vergara
- "El Viso": strictly speaking, El Viso is not part of Salamanca, as it is located just north ITS northern border, María de Molina Street, Serrano street going up north. It is the only part of Madrid with large villas, many community and closed Within Decades of history.
