This house is in a great location, just a couple blocks away from restaurants and shops. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about everything, from a waffle maker to a Keurig coffee maker to an electronic wine bottle opener. The beds were comfortable. The views out the window a beautiful and there is a perfect sledding hill right in front of it for the kiddos, we did't even need to go to snow bunny.
Our entire family gathered at the Mountain House over Christmas- outstanding location in very close proximity to Government Camp which was convenient! Kitchen was wonderful for preparing meals, large Island a plus! All around, a great place to stay. Why were there no instructions about how to operate things? TV, Heating system, etc. Also, the house provided only 1 trash can for 9 people at Christmas which was less than adequate. Overall, however, despite these few drawbacks, would highly recommend!
Robert, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay over Christmas! We have passed your suggestions regarding the needed instructions for the amenities offered to our local manager to review. We appreciate the feedback, and look forward to your next stay!
This house is one of our favorite places to rent in Government Camp!! We love it!!
Perfect house for a family!! Everything you could want or need. Close to the restaurants and shopping. We will be back!!
Had a great stay! House was perfect for our group. Close to shopping, restaurants and pubs. We will definitely be back!!
Perfect Staycation Experience
We all loved the design of the home, the comfy feeling of a cabin and the safety of knowing that there are neighbors close by when we need any kind of assistance. The place is huge where we (11 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 infants) could all be doing our own stuff without bumping on each other. For the ladies that did all the cooking, they were impressed with the available cookware that was not on their list. We left the cabin with a sad face knowing that we had to face reality once again...I hope we can come back in the near future to re-experience the fun we had here.
