Los Corrales de Buelna House Rental Photos and Description

19th Century home with 2 living-rooms, industrial kitchen and 9 bedrooms

Our house was built in the 19th Century following the then fashionable French style. On the ground floor is a large entrance-living-room at the main entrance with a pleasant sitting area which connect with another living-room, the music room, which is presided by a grand piano that has witnessed many a musical gathering over the years. From this living-room one can go onto a terrace facing south, which is also connected to the dining room, with a large mahogany dining table seating 12-14.

On the same floor there is the kitchen area, with storage and children's dining-room and which has recently been turned into an industrial kitchen with very large fridges, freezers, etc. The washing facilities are outside the house, in a separate building.

The first floor has six double bedroom, each with its own bathroom, as well as a small study and a chapel.

On the second floor there are several bedrooms, usually for children, and 2 bathrooms, besides a sitting-area.

The garden has several century-old trees. Between fields and paths, there is a traditional bowling lane, a stone dolls house in the regional style, and an old grass tennis court.

About Viveca

This house belongs to a befriended family in Madrid, who have owned the house since the late 19th Century. Many gatherings and weddings have taken place in it over time! As I know the house well, have had excellent experiences renting out our own country house in the Sierra de Gredos, and can attend our guests in several languages, they asked me to give them a hand with the holiday rentals of their country home. I am of Dutch-Argentine-American-German origin, and live in Madrid since 1990.

The garden has been planted and looked after with great care during all these years. It is the perfect location for social gatherings, and to enjoy all the natural and cultural riches the area has to offer.

UNA ESTANCIA DE LUJO

Solo hemos estado un fin de semana, pero la experiencia ha sido estupenda, sin niguna duda para repetir. La casa es una maravilla, la decoración acorde con la época con todo detalle y conservada increiblemente te transporta en el tiempo. las habitaciones amplisimas y muy completas en detalles y todo en perfecto estado de limpieza y atención. Los jardines y el entorno son preciosos y te olvidas que estás en el centro del pueblo...Y no me puedo olvidar de Marianela que nos ha atendido durante nuestra estancia fenomenal y con mucho cariño. En fin, un fin de semana de lujo.

MAGNIFICA CASA CON ENCANTO

Estuvimos 3 días alojados un grupo grande con niños.

La casa tiene numerosas y amplias estancias y un jardín impresionante con árboles singulares.

Son mejorables la comodidad de algunos colchones y tal vez actualizar algunas instalaciones (cocina y baños), pero esto queda en segundo plano cuando estás en una propiedad singular que te traslada a otra época. Además la calefacción y el agua caliente funcionan muy bien.

Marianela nos atendió estupendamente y nos sirvió los desayunos con zumo recién exprimido.

Mayores y niños nos sentimos como en una pelicula de época
