Oasis in Ashland

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights recently, and we thoroughly enjoyed Ashland and Porscha's oasis tucked conveniently just a short walk from downtown - 10-12 minutes through quiet side roads.

The property is one of cleanest we've ever stayed in, with meticulous attention to detail - laundry, luxury toiletries, local info etc. A bonus for us, was the BBC World News on the cable.

The location is perfect for Ashland town centre, as well as the adjacent countryside - we drove to Crater Lake, which took about 90 minutes.

The garden is beautifully done, so even if you stay in the locale, you'll have a thoroughly relaxed time - nice seating areas, parasols, grill etc.

We highly recommend Porscha's place - and would happily stay again in the future.

Fabulous condo

  • 5 of 5

We loved every minute of our wonderful stay. The place is so well appointed and comfortable. We didn't want to leave. I sometimes have a hard time sleeping while traveling - these beds were magical. We will eagerly rent again. Can't say enough great things about the space, location, and our hosts.

Lovely and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This property is one where I've stayed several times, and it's always a treat to go back. The hostess is most gracious, the property is always spotlessly clean, and the décor is modern and comfortable at the same time.

On this trip, friends and I took both the 2 bedroom unit and the studio. Our age range stretched from the 20's to the 70's, and we all agreed it was perfect.

Having stayed in a variety of accommodations in Ashland, I'm convinced this is the best whether one goes there to see plays, to enjoy the outdoors, or just to get away to a different locale.

Portia's

  • 3 of 5

We had a wonderful time in Ashland. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Easy walking distance to town and plays. So glad for the air conditioning. Lovely courtyard but a little hot to bbq and sit outside. Did have some lovely late evenings. Thanks Portia. Diane

One of the most expensive places we've stayed in Ashland but worst equipped

  • 1 of 5

Not worth the price! The kitchen was not well stocked. Definitely can't cook your own meals here. The refrigerator door is very difficult to close and pops open on its own. It also wouldn't stay cold the first day. Not really conveniently located to town. The place is for two couples but we were only allowed to park one car next to place, the other had to be on the street even though there was more than enough room for both. I've stayed at MANY great places in Ashland. I'd skip this one.

This is a delightful apartment with extremely comfortable beds and a beautiful garden.l

We enjoyed our stay and is probably the best we have stayed at in Ashland. We would recommend this house to everyone and would definitely stay there again. The only

drawback (from my perspective) is that there was no hair dryer (I would bring my own next time). Thank you for a wonderful accommodation.

Owner's Response: Hi Susan, Thank you for the wonderful review. I was surprised to learn about the absence of the hair dryer. I looked all around and found it in an unusual place in the closet on the upper shelf. I'm so sorry, we will make certain that it is placed in the proper place. Hope to see you again.
