Upstairs: 1 master bedroom with a double bed, 1 toilet, many walk-in closets, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi. A safe, a ski locker at the foot of the ski tracks. LOCATION OF THE PARKING LOT: PRIVATE PARKING LOT: On request, it is possible to rent 1 parking spot directly IN the BUILDING. In this case we will give you the contact details of the owner of the parking lot. PUBLIC PARKING LOTS: Do not forget to book your spot in the public parking lots of the resort (P0, P1, P2, P3 or P4). (P0 and P1 are the closest to the building but they are also the most requested.) The following services are included in the rental: sheets + duvet covers (4 simple beds and 1 double bed), 1 towel per person, 2 floor mats, housekeeping. Once you get there, a local agency will take care of your reception and the handing-over of the keys. The agency also offers a discount to hire ski equipment. Pros - The apartment is well situated and truly ski in and ski out. Good location for shops and restaurants and convenient ski lockers. Well equipped inside.
Cons - The apartment is however let down by a number of features. The local management agency were very poor - we were only given 1 set of keys on arrival and had to go back 2 further times to eventually get another set (we were given someone else's keys the 2nd time!). The toilet as you immediately enter the apartment has an awful smell - we complained on the 2nd day and no-one came to fix it. Eventually we involved the owners and plumbers came for 10 minutes - to this day we have no idea what the smell was. The apartment is located on the 6th floor and the noise from the lift shaft is constant day and night. We were given an incorrect Wi-Fi password (the English instructions differed from the French and were wrong) - again, the agency on site refused to help. The bedroom with two bunk beds is just too small for 4people to sleep in - no windows or ventilation. The 3rd 'bedroom' is up a step ladder and in the eves so not suitable for anyone who is 50+. The security deposit is excessive at 750 Euros and is not returned until over a month after your stay and even then I had to chase and then chase again.
The owners are very nice but overall the apartment is disappointing and very over priced.
First of all we’re sorry for the problems you encountered during your stay.
In response to your message I want to give you explanations:
We discovered in your message that the agency gave you only one key. They should have given you 2 sets of keys as I recommended them.
After contacting the agency for an explanation of your complaint I learned that the agency lost a key while we had changed the front door and all the keys (everything was new) on March 12 so 2 weeks before your arrival.
About the odor : effectively the agency has not handled the problem or even informed us. When you contacted us, I immediately called the trustee of the residence who stepped in with his plumber. They found a crack in the general column of common areas. They ordered the defective part and replaced it as soon as they received it, so 2 days after their passage (the Saturday of your departure).
Concerning the noise of the lift shat: I informed the trustee of the residence after your message to involve the ascensorriste. They just get back to me and confirm that Works will be made this summer to fix it.
For the wifi code we’re sorry It was a copy error on the english version but the agency should have given you the correct code or informed us. Sorry for that.
Concerning the room, know that for the reason you mentionned in you message, I rent the apartment for 6 persons only and not 8 persons. I do not include the 3rd bedroom in the rental. It’s specified on the website only 2 rooms (1 double bed room and 1 room with 2 bunk beds. All the photos are on the site).
Concerning the security deposit that we have returned to you, know that we’re still waiting the inventory of the apartment which has to be done by local agency on the day of your departure.
Finally we would like to apologize for any inconvenience and we wish to clarify that we went after your stay in Val Thorens on April 2nd :
- first; to check the work after the odor problem and everything is in order now.
- secondly; to have explanations from the agency on its lack of professionalism and responsiveness, know that we have not been able to meet the responsible of the agency who was unavailable all week
For your information we broke with this local agency for all these reasons and have met a new one which seem much more competent and serious.

Nous n'avons pas été déçus. L'appartement est super bien situé, directement au pied des pistes avec une vue superbe sur la montagne. L'appartement est arrangé avec soin et avec goût. L'après-ski y est très agréable. Adresse à recommander
Excellent séjour en famille
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en famille (2 adultes et 4 enfants) dans ce grand appartement entièrement refait à neuf. La localisation est idéale au cœur de la station, on chausse directement sur les pistes. L'appartement est entièrement équipé avec un jacuzzi et un home cinéma et même un bar pour boire un petit verre au coin du feu.
Le petit plus, la livraison chaque matin du pain frais organisé par le propriétaire très sympathique.

Appartement très bien situé, au coeur de la station.
Lieu idéal pour des vacances au ski en famille ou entre amis! Je recommande vraiment cette adresse: l'appartement est spacieux, super propre et tres bien équipé.
On a vraiment passé un très bon moment à Val Thorens!
La station a d'ailleurs été élue pour la 3eme fois consécutive: meilleure station de ski au monde. C'est donc sur on y retournera.
