Stylishly furnished, contemporary London mews house, close to everything...

London is a very big city so this house, less than a minute off the everything-you-could-want Clapham High Street and two minutes to the underground station, is about as well connected to everything in London as you can get.

The house itself is set around a courtyard in a private development within a small converted Victorian school building and is very spacious, a bit loft style, with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A very chic contemporary mews house with excellent wifi and a very comfy feel.

The downstairs is an open planned living/kitchen area with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine in the open planned kitchen. A large living and dining space with amble seating for both dinning and relaxing which then opens onto a private garden area. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room plus balcony and the main bathroom with bath and shower. This home is beautifully and stylishly furnished & decorated with wooden floors downstairs and carpet upstairs, it is ideal for anything from a few nights to longer term. Smart TV and cable make nights in a dream and the kitchen is able to deliver anything from a snack to a three course meal with the array of supermarkets and speciality shops on hand. Towels and bed linen are provided with a weekly maid service if required.

Clapham is one of London's villages encapsulating everything you need, from supermarkets, cinema, gym, bars and restaurants on the door step of the house plus the wide open spaces of the common. Only two minutes or so walk to the Northern line at Clapham North and then less then ten minutes to the West End or City. Buckingham Palace is few tube stops as is Harrods, Leicester Square and Covent Garden are straight up the Northern line, it's just too easy!

Perfectly placed, you will find it very difficult to find a property set so close to everything from transport links to shops, cinemas, a gym, a large park, children's play grounds and paddling pools on the common, covering pretty much all your local requirements. In a beautiful and unique setting, very private and secure, you'll never want for anywhere else to stay in London.

About Marc Field

Lived all over the world but have always had a home in London since Uni and now I'm settled in Australia I've more time to come back to the UK regularly. Preferring to stay in my own place then a hotel I've changed from long terms tenants to holiday lets.

The house is fully furnished with I everything I may need when I staying in London on either business or pleasure. Love to cook, love a quiet night in but I'm a keen gym goer and need somewhere with places I can run, swim and work out close by. Anything you need to know please let me know.

Why Marc Field chose England

As you'll see when you stay there, it's fantastically located, to be honest if you look at maps of places available to transport hubs I'm one of the best located there is. Two minutes to the Northern line which is then 10-15 minutes either to the City or the West End. Easy for Twickenham or the Oval and easier for the trendy nightlife of Clapham and south London.

What makes this house unique

Well located but off the street in a small private courtyard development. The house and courtyard setting has a very European feel to it, very safe, very secure and very private. I've started to move some of my aboriginal paintings to the house to remind me of Australia whilst I'm here and I love the warmth they give the place as well as complimenting some of the 17/18th century architectural prints I also collect. I think the house has a great feel to it, it feels like a home...

Wonderful holiday home away from home

We stayed at this lovely house in July 2017. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and this place was perfect! Lots of room for all of us to relax after a day of exploring the London!

The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. It is equipped with EVERYTHING you could need. The patio is a great place to have a nice glass of wine when the weather cooperates.

The location is fantastic! It is just a few minutes walk from the Underground and convenient to travel to all of the tourist destinations. If you wish to make some of your meals on your own there is a large grocery store within a few minutes walk! If eating out is more your thing there are many restaurants close to the house.

The "check-in" and "check-out" process was very easy and convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Vacation of a lifetime!

Look no further...you have found your home away from home for a London vacation! This flat come exactly as advertised, from both the owner as well as the other reviewers. It was a perfect sanctuary for a mother/daughter sightseeing trip!

The kitchen and living room area was modern and highly functional, with everything you could need for meals and relaxing. The weather we had was beautiful, so the door to the outdoor patio area was always open to allow in the beautiful breeze. The bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs were comfortable and immaculate. One of the best things about this flat overall is the location. It is a two minute walk to the tube on the Northern line, and if you wish direct access to Victoria line just a short 15 minute walk to Stockwell. After full days of sightseeing around London, we looked forward to returning to Clapham with it’s less busy streets, many restaurants and shops, and the beautiful greenery of Clapham Common. The flat is situated just off Clapham High Street, so you have the best of both worlds, quiet within the Mews but convenient access to everything you would need. Gym, grocery, Boots, and numerous bars and eateries make this the ideal location for families, couples or really anyone!

Finally, Marc and Indre were absolutely ideal to deal with. Communication was flawless and frequent, and Marc was essential in securing our transportation from Heathrow. We can’t thank Marc and Indre enough for making our experience easy and enjoyable. This flat allowed us to have the trip of a lifetime!

Lovely secure mews house

Second time in this lovely little mews house.Great location for cricket fans with Oval ground a 5 minute bus ride away. Shops, restraunts,pubsetc abound Clean light and airy house. Perfect for a London stay.

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed being close to many restaurants.

The property was clean and well kept and we felt comfortable and safe. Our location allowed us to go to the Wimbledon tennis championship by taxi. We came home quite late from The Wimbledon Championship and were happy to find restaurants still open. There is a set of stairs to climb to the bedrooms. It was very close to the tube station as well. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was clean and everything you would need was there.

The house is about a 5-7 minute walk to Clapham North, the Northern Line. It takes between 25-35 minutes to get to the sites, only about 15 to the Theatre District. For those who have not traveled in London, I will note that the Tube is intense in rush hour. With that said, uber was fabulous when it was too far of a walk or the thought of the tube was overwhelming. The area has plenty of grocery stores and restaurants.

Obviously we try and be as flexible as possible, if you you are looking for outside of these times please flag on booking or as soon as you have times. There may be a small charge for very late or very early access.

If you are delayed in anyway getting to the property please let us know as soon as you can so we can amend meeting you. If we have to wait for a longer then an hour we may impose a small fee.

Cancellation policy is up to 180 days prior to arrival I'll give a 100% refund and 120 days I'll refund 50%.
