Kima Condominium is located at 14300 Gulf Blvd. at Madeira Beach, Florida, just 40 minutes from Tampa International Airport. HAS INTERNET. Fishing, boating, swimming, relaxing sunsets, shell seeking, sun bathing, restaurants, shopping, deep sea fishing excursions, gambling cruises and world famous JOHNS PASS VILLAGE are all within walking distance for your enjoyment. The building has a heating pool, sun bathing deck and an elevator. Saturday to Saturday rentals only.

St. Petersburg/Clearwater and its attractions (Pier, Dali Museum, Baseball Spring Training, golf/tennis) is only 20 minutes away; Tampa has a beautiful aquarium and Busch Gardens are 45 minutes away. Orlando and its attractions (Walt Disney World, Universal, Sea World) is less than 2 hours away!

We have an extra large open air balcony and the best rates on the beach!!! You would be renting from an owner and we pass the savings along to you so you, we have may guest that return year after year and know you will have a great time and would want to return again and again.

Rentals are weekly, Saturday to Saturday. Check-in is 3 p.m. Saturday and check out by 10:00 a.m. the following Saturday. We can allow greater flexibility for check-in/check-out times and dates during 'off' (value) season (after labor day), or if approved in advance.

Why Charles Lunsford chose Florida Central Gulf Coast

Kima condos is a 30 unit building only 1 mile from famous John's Pass Village. HAS INTERNET/WIFI. The building has an elevator with 2 stairways. The POOL is seasonally heated and has chairs along with lounge chairs and concrete picnic tables, you can rinse off at at foot or full body shower outside. The private patio is only a few yards to the water.

The property is so convenient to Winn Dixie Grocery, a mile away and Publix only 2 miles.

What makes this condo unique

The Gulf of Mexico has beautiful white sand and warmer waters than the Atlantic. The gulf gives you beautiful sunsets, get for photographs. The beach is wide enough to fly a kite, recline in the sun without the big crowds of narrow beaches. You can even enjoy the pool with an ocean view. We like to eat early so we do not miss the sunsets which is the best time to be on the beach. Hearing the waves break from the private balcony is very relaxing and there is also the view of the bay from the front door entrance to enjoy. Kima is one of the best condos on Madeira Beach. Has internet/wifi.

Will definitely be back!

We have stayed in Madeira Beach several times before, but always at the hotel next door. This time we thought we would give this condo a try and I am glad we did!

The entire process from reserving it to paying for it to leaving was all very smooth and painless. Charles was very friendly and helpful.

A day before we were to arrive, we did get a call stating that the condo that we were to stay in was needing repairs so we were being "upgraded" to a condo on the top floor, condo 501. I am glad we did. It was a beautiful condo with a spectacular view. There were just a couple of minor things...the mirror on the closet door in the master bedroom had a crack in it and when we arrived, the towels were wadded up in a ball on the kitchen counter. Other than that, it was GREAT! We loved the beach access and the pool. It was also much quieter than staying at a hotel. The condo had everything we needed. We did stock up on supplies, which we left for the next family.

We will definitely stay here again!

Very Enjoyable Stay

We just returned home from a week in Unit 406 at Kima. This location is excellent...peaceful surroundings, friendly neighbors, uncrowded, plenty of places to eat and fun things to do within a short distance. The best ice cream shop EVER is a short walk down the street. The beach is very clean and just a short walk from the building. I would have given a 5 start rating if our unit had been more updated. Regardless, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly rent from Mr. Lunsford again. Thanks, Chuck!

Great Condo!

Renting this unit was a great decision. When I called the number to ask about the property, Chuck was very kind, courteous, and did a great job explaining to me the what was offered at the units, what I should expect, and what the process was moving forward with the Rental. He even offered a better price than what was posted (as he mentions in the ad.) The unit and building were very clean when I arrived. The view was spectacular. We saw rays, dolphins, and manatees swimming along the beach on a daily basis. We even had a sea turtle lay eggs on the beach directly in front of the unit our last night there. I highly recommend this unit through Chuck and Kima Condominiums. I would definitely return.

Kima Condos by far exceeded my expectations. The property was very secure. The unit was very nicely furnished, well equipped and absolutely spotless! The view was gorgeous, very easy access to the beautiful beach, short walking distance to many restaurants and shops, the heated pool was just as clean as the unit, the beds were very comfortable....I just can't say enough. Charles was great to work with and always accepted my calls with any questions I had prior to arrival. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Great condo, great location!

Would stay here again in a minute. The beach is gorgeous...walked it every day. Just a mile walk or drive to John's Pass for great dining, shopping & entertainment. Condo is very comfortable and nicely furnished. Has everything you might need including beach chairs & umbrellas. Hope to return next year.

The location and view are as far as that statement goes. The unit that we rented was "marginal at best" for occupancy. The "in-between-renters cleaning" was a farce (i.e. kitchen sink, coffee maker, microwave and cabinets were all dirty/stained, and of questionable use; the dishwasher had an unknown residue in the tub bottom): a "deep cleaning" had not been performed for and extended period (i.e. bathroom exhaust fan grills were dirty and grimy; area rugs in the living area and second bedroom were dirty and badly stained; the heating unit area was a potential hazard); and finally, upkeep maintenance was not being performed (i.e. the garbage disposal was leaking and had been for an extended period; second bedroom closet doors were off their rails; the heating unit filter was in need of replacement and the cover was off; slats were missing from both the master bedroom and living area patio doors' slat curtains).

The owner, "Charles" was informed of these issues as they were discovered. He did send a cleaning person to address the kitchen issues, but we opted to clean them ourselves. A maintenance person confirmed the leaking garbage disposal, but "Charles" suggested that we just: "empty the bucket" beneath the disposal. The disposal was not replaced.

"Charles" did not accept responsibility for the "condition" of the unit, nor did he offer to discuss possible rebates/discounts, based on the unit's condition.

Owner's Response: I have a response to your comment. First you arrived prior to 3pm, the check in time (this time is used for cleaning). As stated on my directions/instruction sheet it instructs our visitors to call if anything needs attention once you arrive. You did call around 5 pm on Saturday and said "some things were not clean in the unit". I asked what specifically needed attention and that I would send the cleaner back to make it right. On the day you arrived, the cleaner came back over and you refused to allow her to come in. Our policy is to "make things right" and guest do not have the choice to clean the unit themselves and expect a refund. This helps train the cleaner to do a good job so they don't have to go back over and clean again. The next day, I offered to send another cleaner and you refused again. At the time, your complaints were not specific and I asked you if towels, bed linens and floors were clean and you said "yes." The drip under the kitchen sink was fixed on Monday which is the earliest a plumber could address the problem. A full refund was offered to you if you wanted to go somewhere else, which you refused. You refused the cleaner to clean again. I contacted another owner in the building to see if another unit was available for you to move to their unit and you refused. I quickly got the impression that all you wanted was money back and to stay the full week at a reduced rate during peak season. I could not find any other bad reviews on my unit, only positive comments. As you can see, all the reviews we have had from the past are good. A refund or discount for your stay was not an option, you refused to let me "make it right" which is my policy. Upon your departure, we have instructions for leaving the unit and you did not leave the unit in an acceptable condition. I am sure you were not happy that I did not offer money back but I tried may times to have someone come to the unit and clean from "your list." I am concerned why you would not let the cleaner come in the unit and re-clean. My cleaners know if they do a good job there won't be any issues to have to "make it right." The cleaning staff are not allowed to re-enter the unit once a guest has taken occupancy for a couple of reasons which include the privacy and safety of the guest personal belongings. I offer an affordable, comfortable, ocean front condo to travelers from all around the world which is what has kept me in business for many years.
