The elegant resort, located in Rome’s Castelli Romani region, was built in the mid-1960s with the collaboration of world known architects and extremely refined material. Initially the land was bought because of the optimal climatic conditions, the quality of its air, and the beauty of the area as well as the strategic location to Rome.
The villas of Via Pierre Castelli Romani have been recently refurbished and given a new lease of life, creating traditions of their own. Characterized by their unique and exclusive atmospheres each villa is different, with its own unique features.
We are a family of 4 and we stayed here for 1 week. The Villa is very spacious, with a large enclosed garden. The staff were most helpful and couldn't do enough for us! We didn't have a car and 'Cornelio' even drove us to the local supermarket and helped us do our shopping! The trains from Frascati to Rome take about half an hour and were on time, air conditioned and very cheap! We also found a great Taxi company that could speak English. The shared pool was only a 5 minute walk away. Very lovely peaceful location.
The villa was perfectly clean on arrival and well resourced. It is tastefully decorated and in a super location just 30 minutes train journey from the centre of Rome.
Our family enjoyed the huge pool and we were pleased with the comfortable sun loungers making a very relaxing holiday.
Marvin, Luciano, Cornilious and all of the staff were truly very helpful; helping us to enjoy our holiday more.
The booking process was easy, with great communication. The price is fair for the quality, location and facilities. We would thoroughly recommend this property as a base for a family who want to be near Rome and the surrounding tourist areas.
We would definitely stay here again.
We had a fabulous time during our stay. It was a perfect location, close to the local town and within easy reach of Frascati. The villa was lovely and was like a home from home. We stayed with friends, but still had plenty of privacy thanks to the thoughtful layout of the property.
The staff were really helpful and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable.
Quaint cottage located on a beautiful gated compound. Nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of big cities and apartment living whilst travelling for 3 weeks in Italy. Very private. The kitchen is quite small but there is plenty of living space. There is no washer/dryer in the actual rental. Marvin and Luciano were very involved and helpful. Pool looked lovely but we never had a chance to use it. Thanks for a nice stay.
We simply loved it - our stay could not have been better!! From the moment that we were welcomed by Marvin and shown around to the moment that we left, our experience was truly excellent. Aside from the beauty of the villa and the surrounding countryside, the staff were absolutely wonderful. The villa with many nice places to have breakfast, lunch or diner, is located in a privately owned estate. The pool and surrounding area is wonderful and provided a place to laze around reading, eating or cooling down from the sun. The Villas is very well positioned for visits to historic towns such Castelgandolfo, Frascati as well as day trips to Rome, Naples and Pompei to name but a few. As nice as the pictures are, they really do not relay the beauty or tranquility of this place.
A huge thank you from Mark, Lisa, Peter and Susi!!!
Many thanks to Marvin and his team for a super stay at Villa La Legnaia. The house was beautiful with plenty of space for the four of us. The pool and grounds were very well maintained - we really did feel like we were away from it all. Special thanks to Marvin and his team for making us feel very welcome, they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. We hope to be back again very soon. Thank you!
