A perfect summer vacation venue
We could not have been more pleased with our stay. 13 of us for a family reunion in the beautiful Italian countryside. Giacomo and Cosetta were so kind and attentive making sure we well cared for. They made tours and reservations for us multiple times and even arranged for a local chef to come to our house and prepare a final banquet. The house and pool were wonderful and easily accommodated our large group. I already miss sitting on the patio eating figs off the trees and sipping many cappuccini
The Perfect Vacation Home in Emilia Romagna
This home is perfect in every way. The 360 degree view is stunning. The interior is comfortable and stylish and the pool is as lovely as it looks.
We were a group of 5 adults and 4 kids ages 10 months to 12. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed the furnishings and the fully outfitted kitchen. Our three girls enjoyed a room with extra single beds where they could sleep in the same room. We adults enjoyed the plentiful queen sized beds in all the bedrooms which is often rare to find in European rentals. The bathrooms are all beautiful with fantastic water pressure and hot water. The bathrooms are complete with hair dryers and bath products which is a nice convenience.
We enjoyed days exploring the beautiful castle towns in the area as well as days to Parma, Modena and Bologna. We found some lovely restaurants nearby and also enjoyed cooking at home a few nights and watching the beautiful sunsets.
The home's manager, Giacomo, is a perfect host and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. His communication prior to our visit was very helpful. We would love to return to this property and highly recommend it to others.
Thank you very much for your kind words, we are very happy you enjoyed your time in Tabiano and I hope to see you back soon!
All the best wishes,
Ca de Poi was a dream come true for our family. 15 adults and one toddler made the trip and we were all immediately mesmerized by the location, the house and the vistas. The house is very large, but it is homey and comfortable. The back of the house faces beautiful vistas, and my nieces and nephews all ran outside to take selfies upon arrival. My great nephew, got right into the pool although the water was very cold. Only an 18-month old could do this.
We shared many meals in the house, prepared by our family chef, Dan. It was so comfortable and relaxed. The house could use some updated kitchen equipment for large groups, i.e., coffee maker, toaster, good knives - but that was the only complaint.
The sun rises and the sunsets were spectacular, and even the dark and foreboding wind storm that popped up one night was incredible. One night, the sun was setting on one side of the house as a full moon and shooting star rose on the other!!
We explored Parma and Bardi (my maternal grandparents came from these regions), Cremona, Zibello, Colorno, Fontanello, etc.
We all agreed that the regional food was excellent and so were the wines! We would return in a heartbeat.
Fantastic place and house
Great house with a amazing view and fantastic pool. We where 4 families who had a relay good and relaxing week at Ca de poi. They also arranged for a local chef to come to our house and prepare dinner. Best Italia meal ever. Thanks to Giacomo and the staff for making our stay perfect.
In the heart of the Food Valley, on the green hills of the Parma Apennines, this area has famous cities of art (Parma, Mantua, Cremona, Bologna), spectacular castles, the Ferrari of Maranello and the Ducati motorbike, as well as excellent foods such as ham parma, porcini mushroom parmesan. There are very famous spas (Salsomaggiore and Tabiano) many golf courses. Shopping paradise, with the Fidenza Village the Outlet of the big names. moment,
