Perfect!!! Great location, clean, cozy, and wonderful hosts!!!
Only sad that I didn't find the Cub Cabin earlier. It was the perfect place to unwind after camping at a music festival for the weekend. Super close to the beach and a short drive to good restaurants. The cabin was clean and well stocked. I couldn't have asked for better hosts. Thank you Mike for the great conversation and thank you Linda for the best cookies ever!!! We will be back :)
Thank you so much.

Great place for escape getaway
Exceptionally clean, well stocked, cozy and relaxing. Great host.
Great cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle of life!
Close to Mackinaw City, Wilderness State Park and Headlands Dark Sky Park. Great place to see wildlife including the beaver damn at the end of the trail behind cabin. Would highly recommend to any and all.
My new husband and I spent 3 nights here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Quiet, out in the boon-sticks, small and intimate, well appointed, squeaky clean, sweet and well loved....all of this and more. Mike and Linda, our hosts, were kind and pleasant, available but not at all intrusive. Oh...and the cookies were delicious : -) ! You will not be dissappointed.
Wonderful escape, located perfectly!
This was a perfect spot to experience a little bit of everything in the Northern tip and across the bridge. The cabin was very clean, warm, and cozy. Mike gave a fantastic opening tour - we loved Linda's cookies! We were able to go to the Wilderness park, Moosejaw Junction, Mackinaw City, St Ignace, and many more little spots along the way all within 20 minutes of the cabin. The sauna is an amazing amenity to come back to after a fun day out. We will absolutely be returning for future hiking trips!
Home away from home
In a lot of reviews for cub cabin you'll read about Mike and Linda welcoming you with open arms. I couldn't emphasize enough how much that I appreciated their hospitality. The area was beautiful in winter. The cabin was cozy, the sauna was relaxing. There's a beach a little West of the cabin that we enjoyed. And the local area (even being 75% closed in winter) still had enough to offer to keep us busy. There's a dark sky park less than 20 minutes away. We'll be coming back in the summer months to go there to see the northern lights. Overall, I wouldn't think twice before making another reservation to Cub Cabin.
