Lovely quiet home from home

Stayed here a few times now, having the beach and seafront on your doorstep is wonderful. Plenty of places to walk, easy drive up to Shields, or take the metro into Newcastle.

Just a lovely location to relax and unwind, the private car park also an advantage

A Comfy Flat by the Sea

Very comfortable and accessible. Wonderful view of the waterfront and an enjoyable place to walk. Close to a hotel with restaurant facilities, bus to city center, access to the shore and seasonal activities associated with the ocean side. We enjoyed the quiet setting and our daily walks. The flat is very comfortable for two and would be for four as well. It is two levels with a bedroom and full bathroom on the bottom, entry, kitchen, living space, bedroom and bath on the top. Beds were comfortably firm. The downstairs shower was large and had good water pressure. Upstairs has a tub which we did not use. The picture shown is not the flat we stayed in but it is similar. The view is outstanding. This would be a lovely place to stay for an extended period of time.

Owner's Response: Hi Thank you so much for this excellent and comprehensive review which I am sure will be useful to future guests. We have two flats listed with Home Away. They are in the same building, on the same floor, both have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living room, but the interiors are slightly different. The photos are labeled to show which flat is depicted, so guests can see exactly which flat they are reserving. Regards Karen

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The apartment was ideal for us. The view overlooking Roker beach & pier were at times breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The apartment was well furnished and well equipped, we didn't need for anything. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. We will stay again & recommend. Dawn was very welcoming & helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
