Kiawah Island is a barrier island outside of Charleston, SC. This private island is unique as there is very limited commercial development. Kiawah has been closely managed to maximize the enjoyment for residents and visitors while maintaining its natural beauty. Kiawah Island boasts over 10 miles of pristine beaches. Many visitors rent bikes and enjoy bike rides on the hard-packed sand. Wildlife abounds and don't be surprised by the number of birds and alligators that make the lagoons home.
This particular villa is ideal for families. Use it as your home base to explore Kiawah's 30+ miles of paved bike trails or bike down the hard packed sand of the beach. Tee off together on world-class golf courses, including Kiawah's Ocean Course, home to the 2012 and 2021 PGA Championships.
Practice your swings at the Number One Tennis Resort according to Tennis Magazine. Enjoy our abundant wildlife during a nature walk or while kayaking. Relax together wandering the shops at Freshfields Village or Bohicket Marina.
This villa does not have access to a swimming pool. We welcome nice dogs with payment of a refundable security deposit.

We really enjoyed our stay in this villa. The location was perfect. About a 2 minute bike ride or 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Definitely one of the closer units in the Turtle Cove area to the beach. Besides a rogue beetle/spider or two, the villa was in great shape and very clean. The updated TVs were great and a nice selection of cable channels. We loved the size of the screened in porch. Comfortable for even 6-8 people and a great view. The deer walked right up to the porch and we saw quite a few alligators. The king bed in the master was really comfy and the secondary bedroom was a great size - very spacious. The kitchen was outdated from a finishes standpoint but who cares? We had everything we needed! And it was great that it was not on ground level but you only had to go up about 5 steps. Overall we had a great trip and will come back to this villa.
After a long drive from PA we arrived at the Villa. Other than food and other small household items we had everything we needed, including extra blankets, kitchen and bathroom items, etc. The property was well maintained and very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and walked every morning to the beach. My mother in law never saw an alligator and when she saw one she was amazed! The location was very convenient to Charleston and the islands in the area. I have nothing but great things to say about this Villa!
Location is about an 8 minute walk to the beach. The walk is scenic. We really appreciated that the owner allows dogs! The porch was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee and afternoon wine. We saw herons, alligators and deer. Everything was clean and well stocked. We would definitely use this condo again. Condo is also close to the bike paths. One last but important note......there were absolutely no palmetto ar any other type of bug in the condo.
Our family returned to this idyllic villa on a lagoon at Kiawah because of the peaceful, tranquil atmosphere and the location to the beach. Sitting on the covered porch and watching the deer graze and other wildlife around the lagoon was absolutely enchanting. The villa it so close to the beach, but it is also located well to the numerous bike trails. We thoroughly enjoyed bicycling around the island to see the different nature observatories and wildlife views. We also love the fact that our family pet is welcome at the villa. The villa had all the amenities necessary for a great-home-away-from home experience even including a complete spice rack in the well-equipped kitchen. It was such a wonderful vacation that I can't wait to visit Turtle Cove Villa again in the near future!
We have stayed on Kiawah Island many times over the last 20 years. This was probably one of the better equipped homes that we have rented. The beach is about a 10 minute walk or a short bike ride away. It's a two bedroom and the rooms are fairly well separated. It had a great large screened in porch with a great view of the lagoon and associated wildlife. We saw gators, deer and many different birds. It has three TVs and also has WIFI. We would recommend this property. It is pet friendly. We, of course, always kept our dog in a travel crate when we were gone but she loved the porch and watching the wildlife.
All of the properties managed by this PM are way above standard expectations. Location to the beach, cleanliness and ambiance of the property, and overall experience was one of our best on the island. Having access to a washer and dryer can very handy as well. This condo had upgraded tv's, cable and internet: a big perk since the Stanley Cup Playoffs had just begun.
