I especially enjoy drinking and try lots of various teas. I appreciate human contacts and love travelling around the world, meeting new people and to discover other cultures. We are simple people, open minded, eager to learn more about culture and customs in other countries. Could you please knock at our door? We are a couple friendly, easy going and very welcoming to our guests who look forward to discover Brussels and its surrounding areas. Excellent Home Away from Home!
Mary is an excellent hostess! I immediately felt at home in this lovely apartment. The location is about a 15 minute bus ride to Bruxelles Centraal. I would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was very nice, clean, good storage and amenities. The apartment looks new,and has everything you would need to cook and eat meals there. The host are very pleasant, and are available if you need them. They had food, beverages, and a warm welcome waiting for us. I can not speak to the location or use of public transportation, as we were visiting family and were only there to sleep.
Quiet, Clean, Full of Amenities
The apartment was perfect for us, Mary was kind enough to stock goodies like chocolate, yogurt, cookies and even beer and wine for us. It made our short visit very sweet and easy since we didn't have to spend time grocery shopping. Everything was clean and stocked with more than we could possibly need. The location was great for us--an easy bus ride to the center of town but in a quiet neighborhood with great food in walking distance. Highly recommend the Lebanese restaurant nearby. We would definitely return next time we were in Brussels!
Modern and well equipped flat short distance from city centre. Welcoming owner.
The flat is well equipped, comfortable, very clean and well maintained. The owner's welcome pack was extremely generous and the fridge was full. She was very welcoming and helpful. It is about a 30 minute walk to the Grand Place - there is a bus but we were happy walking. The off road private parking is in a secure garage just round the corner. The rear patio is really just a quite small court yard without a view but its fine for eating in and you obviously don't go to Brussels to sit in a flat. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
An amazing welcome and stay in their lovely apartment
We recently stayed 6nights at this beautiful apartment in the suburbs of Brussels and can only reiterate what others have said , it’s a wonderful place to stay and the owners make it even more so
Mary and Loti are truly wonderful hosts, welcoming and thoughtful
The partment is about 15-20mins from the centre of Brussels, with a bus virtually at the door and second 4 mins walk away , it was quiet and a lovely refuge for us after 10weeks travelling
I have never stayed in an apartment that was so well ,stocked! We had all the essentials ++++and so much, wine, chocolates ,there was so much that we didn’t have to go shopping at all for the first two days , we appreciated that as tired and unwell when we arrived
The apartment is spotless, everything worked very well, nothing left to chance and Loti and Mary left us to enjoy the place but were there if we needed advice,
The bed was extremely comfortable, plenty of cupboard space , and we enjoyed the small patio once the sun came out ,
We can highly recommend this lovely apartment and the generous owners , for us it was a welcome haven in a long journey
Good luck and thank you,Mary and Lotfi ,
Most Gracious Hosts
What a pleasure it was to stay in this lovingly renovated apartment. All the details are there in the lighting fixtures, the bathroom, the kitchen. In addition to providing a lovely and comfortable shelter, Lofti and Marie also semi-stock your refrigerator. So nourishment is also thrown into the bargain! The only reason I am giving this location 4.5 stars is that, while it is not difficult to get to the center of the city, it is also not right outside your door. I don't know if I took the most direct route but when I walked out of the building, I turned right, made another right, crossed the busy boulevard and caught a #29 bus, which took me to the metro station (line 1) and then to Centraal Station. There could be a more direct way to get there. In any case, do stay in here, you will be comfortable and not lacking for anything!
