The view is amazing
The cabin is very nice and we have enjoyed our stay
Wonderful mountain stay.
We had a wonderful vacation, the cabin was everything we had hoped for and more! Our first morning a deer was eating right her breakfast in front of the cabin. Sandy’s emails and suggestions we very helpful. We couldn’t have had a better vacation.
Really lovely cabin, really secluded and with wonderful views .
Would have loved to have stayed for longer !
Had a problem with the air con, but the owner got it sorted promptly, and there are ceiling fans so wasn't really a major issue
Overall, very happy and would recommend
Had a great time
We had a great time at this cabin. The view while a little different than the picture (maybe because of the trees) was still awesome. Beautiful mountain views and even saw a deer one morning. The cabin was decorated very cute and was very clean. Inside stairs are very steep and we found that it was easier to get downstairs from the the lower deck. Driveway looks scary since we’re from FL but was actually pretty easy to turn around in once we did it. I liked that it was easy to find. Plus Sandy sent a bunch of emails that listed a ton of things to do in the area which was great. No complaints and would definitely recommend and stay there again!
Nice cabin getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. We got a large cabin to host a small family get together one day over the weekend, and it was perfect for that. The younger members had a downstairs area. And the older guests could enjoy the upstairs. It was close enough to Atlanta that some of the family was also able to come back and enjoy some of the nearby attractions on another day. I was pretty excited to find a sasquatch museum up the road. I will say that the porch area is more weather worn than the pictures, and there is a cabin uphill within earshot. The road and driveway are steep and and narrow and turning around in a truck is kinda rough. You can park more than 2 cars (we had 2 cars and a truck one day), just make sure to plan your exit. The hot tub was clean, although my husband and I were sensitive to the chemicals and found it hard to breathe. I found the emails from sandy very useful, and the checkout process was very easy
TLDR: nice cabin good for family, porch areas could use some touch ups, narrow steep drive not always paved. Easy check in and check out.
We are so happy our guests enjoyed their stay. We scheduled cabin/decks/porches re staining in March, April and May, however, bad weather prevented painting. We then had back to back bookings. We were able to book 10 days, beginning today, to pressure wash and have all re stained. Cabin/ decks and porches had been stained 3 years ago, however, harsh weather takes its toll. I have the housekeeper use a hot tub treatment which is rated as the best for sanitizing, yet easy on the skin. When cabins are near the top of a mountain,, and have a view, the drive up to the cabin can seem a bit steep to those not used to mountain areas.
Our family really enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the hot tub and there was more than enough room for everyone. Blue Ridge is a great little town and we look forward to coming back.
