Antler Ridge Hideaway Cabin: The cabin is a true log cabin, located near the top of Laurel Ridge Mountain (3,000 elevation) in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The views you see in photos are indeed the view from both porches and decks, hot tub and all interior rooms except the twin bed bedroom. The upper level of the cabin has the deck with seating areas, screened porch with swing and rockers, living and dining area, fireplace, wide screened TV, kitchen, bedroom #1 with two twin beds, full bathroom and bedroom #2 with queen bed & TV.
The lower level of the cabin has the game area with pool and air hockey table, treadmill, laundry room with washer/dryer, another family sitting area with queen sleeper sofa with box spring mattress (sleeping area #3), gas log fire place, wide screen TV, X-Box 360 Elite HD with games and controllers, master bedroom #4 with king sized bed and master bathroom. Off the Game Room area is the lower level porch and the huge 27’ by 42’ deck with seating/rockers/swings, hot tub and a picnic table with umbrella.
The cabin is on 2.5 + acres, secluded and has mountain views of Rich Mountain and uninhabited national forest lands. It is not in a gated community, nor do you have close neighbors (YOU DO NOT SEE OTHER CABINS FROM OUR CABIN). There is no cabin to our left. The cabin to our right is several acres away and over a hill. You have over 50 acres of “no neighbors”. You do not see the road from our cabin, yet you do not feel totally isolated. Unlike may cabins near the top of a mountain, the Hideaway has plenty of level land for children, pets and family to walk around, run and play with no sudden drop offs.

Antler Ridge Hideaway is a MUST STAY!
The house was everything the ad says it is and more. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. The house is secluded on the side of the mountain which makes for a romantic getaway. Very clean and included nice amenities such as a Hot Tub!, flat screen HDTV, gas grill, pool table, which we all used!
The cabin is very close to a lot of good hiking and waterfalls. This is a great place for a romantic peaceful weekend or for the adventure seeker.
Loved This Cabin
We stayed in Antler Ridge Hideaway for 5 nights in late April and wished we could have stayed longer.
Sandy was a pleasure to deal with and made the process easy, answering any questions quickly and supplying plenty of information.
And the cabin is a treasure. It was raining the day we arrived. The road leading to it, though winding and fairly steep, was very well maintained. The driveway itself is also steep, and a 4wd is not necessary but it helps. The turnaround is a little tricky, but after doing it once is easy enough. Anyway, its all worth it to get to the cabin.
There are a few cabins in the area, but none really nearby, so the privacy is outstanding. And the decks are equally outstanding, with plenty of seating and offering the views you see in the photos. The area around the cabin was well worth exploring and kept my wife and granddaughter busy for hours on end.
The home is comfortable and clean, not the newest place we've ever stayed in, but well maintained. There is sleeping room for eight, but the kitchen/living room area might be little small for 8 people. It was great for the five of us. We all slept well and enjoyed it enough to want to return.
The cell signal is decent, but the WIFI is quite strong, however it is an open network. Would have preferred it to be secured.
And there is plenty to do in N Georgia. The Toccoa River Swinging bridge, Amicalola Falls, plenty of hiking trails, waterfalls, etc. Blue Ridge is a nice little town, as is McCaysville / Copperhill.
All in all it was a great trip and we plan to return. We'll look to this cabin first when we do.
Had a great time
The cabin was beautiful the view was gorgeous. The owners were awesome 👏
had a wonderful time we saw snow my first time ever seeing snow I’m from Florida also saw deer on several occasions. My overall stay was awesome thank you Sandy.
Views & Privacy
This cabin was great! The view is great and wonderful to take in while sitting on one of the many rocking chairs offered on the screened-in porch or deck! And you don't see or hardly hear any neighbors, so you if want seclusion truly want to get away, this place is awesome!
The hot tub was great - especially at night enjoying the mountains lit by the moon and all the stars. Cute decor in the cabin and almost anything you need in the kitchen to make a meal (the only thing missing/couldn't find was a culinary brush... we were trying to put some BBQ sauce on chicken wings).
We went with our 3 kids... 12 yrs, 5 yrs & 20 months old (and our dog as well - so nice this is pet friendly!) There are some games provided, but we never even used them except the plastic bowling set... that was a hit.
The pool table was enjoyed as well (but don't expect the basketball game you see in one of the pics - that's not there anymore).
The grounds have "no steep drops-offs", however they are VERY hilly, so I wouldn't recommend very young kids playing outside alone. My 5-year-old could just barely handle it. The walk up the hill from the lower deck to the firepit is VERY steep... it could really benefit from some steps or a railing being provided.
There are a couple warning signs for the stairs inside the cabin and they mean it! Not only are they steep, but the steps are very narrow as well. I had to walk down sideways to feel safe. Luckily there is a door at the top to keep closed and I saw a gate provided downstairs to protect kids from going up and a railing on both sides to utilize, so they've done their due diligence to provide what they could for safety (short of installing an elevator! lol) While it was light out, we just used the stairs outside to get down/upstairs most of the time. What's a few extra steps to enjoy this cabin?
I can see the road being a bit treacherous for some to get up to this cabin (but that's how you get the privacy and views!). Luckily our weather was pretty clear during the day in early April, but if there was ever ice or snow, I'd honestly be too afraid to attempt it unless we had 4 wheel drive!
If it weren't for the inside stairs & road to get there, this would a 5 star rating for sure... darn near perfect! I think we would stay here again once our youngest child is a little older.
Very spacious and well situated cabin. Has everything anyone could ever want when getting away from the every day bump and grind.
Stunning Decks and Views
Wonderful trip to this cabin. Owner gave very detailed instructions on how to use everything and left nothing to the imagination. Although it was cold and we couldn't use them to their fullest extent, the 2 decks were amazing. It snowed one day and the view of the snow covered mountain from the decks was beautiful. The drive up to the cabin is very steep and I was worried after the first time driving it, but there was never a problem at all. It even rained and we still were able to make it up with no problems at all. The drive is worth the view. There is a very steep staircase to access the king suite on the bottom floor. You have to go real slow or you will take tumble. That is the only downside, if there is one, to this cabin. Didn't hurt me to slow down a little.
