A Great Thanksgiving

  • 5 of 5

3 generations stayed comfortably in this house. (10 people, 2 sets of in-laws, 3 teens!) The layout allowed great opportunities for togetherness AND privacy. Kitchen allowed a bountiful feast. House was clean with a nice setting. Very well furnished and allowed easy relaxation. Hiking trails and great views nearby. My kids were asking when we could return before we even got back off the mountain.

Fine

  • 3 of 5

Pros: Very comfortable, pretty clean, good price, great hot tub, plenty of space, 3 BATHROOMS, nice to be able to do laundry, convenient location. Communication with George, the property manager (very prompt and helpful) was easy, as we needed to find/figure out a few things.

Cons: Our group found several small things that really kept us from loving this place, and yes, it is a bit outdated. Our consensus was that the owners needed to spend a few days living here to experience first hand the MINOR fixes that would take this to a 5 star (provide hot tub towels, kitchen hot water handle kept falling off, missing roller on dishwasher rack, window treatment on the downstairs bathroom, etc.). Guest binder needs attention.

Would consider staying here again if updates were made.

Owner's Response: HI Joda, I am sorry you did not find the minor detail fixes not there. We have just come out of your busy season, and I have had some health issues and have not been up to the property since I had hip replacement. My wife and I are planning a trip to address all issues and spruce the house up. I hope you decide to come again!! George

Great house and location at Beech Mountain!! Second year and we will be back for sure!!

  • 5 of 5

We came to ski but it happened to be an unusually warm year at Beech. So we checked out Sugar and Appalachian. We also went zip lining and the UTV tour with Off the grid. We had an awesome time!! The house has plenty of room to relax and spread out with a larger group. The hot tub is great after a day of skiing and the view is nice out back on the deck. We will definitely be back next year!! Thanks again George!

Great stay

  • 5 of 5

Totally enjoyed our stay at Pinnacle Paradise. It was great value for the money and it was extremely clean. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the place. It is a little dated but nothing that would hinder a stay there for sure. It was a family ski trip and we had plenty of room with two families. It had everything we needed to make our trip a memorable one. The location was perfect. And you have to go to Fred's Merchantile if you stay here. Neat place and the staff is amazing. Oh and we had the pleasure of meeting the cleaning lady that worked so hard to clean our place before we got there and she was so helpful And gave us great information on the area. She was leaving when we arrived. Loved the place if we go back to Beech Mtn we will stay here if given the chance. Thanks for letting us share your place.

Great family rental

  • 4 of 5

Plenty of space for the whole family. Property is very close to ski mountain and town so it’s easy to get around. Hot tub is a bonus. Property is a little “tired” but I would stay there again. Kids enjoyed the foos ball and the deer that visited in the yard. Disappointed we couldn’t get TV to provide any cable in the loft as kids wanted to hang out there but otherwise internet and TV was good.

Weekend Get Away

  • 2 of 5

Beautiful area and quaint town. The home has a nice quiet lot but no Mtn. views. Enjoyed all the wildlife around the area. The home was clean but the basement area with the 2 additional bedrooms felt like you were in a dark dank area. The common area down there was very small. The bathrooms need updating. The Kitchen area is well supplied and enough room to fit all. The upstairs TV is large enough to view by all but downstairs is old and useless. If you were not looking to use downstairs it you should be ok.
