A delightful detached barn conversion set within 70 acres of land with chickens & fresh eggs in the morning, all just a stones throw from the bottom of the garden.

Converted to a high standard, this detached barn conversion offers friendly self-catering accommodation, nestled in the peace and tranquillity of the Somerset countryside.

The property is approached through a private entrance shared only with the owner's neighbouring property.

A warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured.

It makes a perfect rural retreat for those wishing to enjoy the seclusion of the surrounding countryside, yet its location makes it an ideal base for touring the area and visiting many popular attractions, such as Clarks Village, Dunster Castle, Somerset World, Cheddar Gorge, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, The Walled Gardens of Cannington, Cannington Golf Course, Glastonbury (15 miles), Burnham-on-Sea, Western-Super-Mare, plus much more.

With the Quantocks and Exmoor so close by, you will be spoilt for choice for long walks, with scenic views in every direction.

Lots of beaches are also very close by, such as Kilve Beach on the Jurassic Coast (9 miles) is perfect for fossil hunting. Beyond that lies Watchett, Blue Anchor, Dunster and then Minehead itself, all sandy.

In the evenings you can enjoy a stroll to the family pub, or enjoy a BBQ and bonfire on the private enclosed land to the rear of the property.

Play facilities for the children include a trampoline & swing set in the large enclosed garden.

The accommodation retains many of its original features and offers SIX bedrooms:

• 4 bedrooms situated on the first floor, 3 Double bedrooms (1 with single bed in addition) & 1 King-size bedroom. 2 bedrooms with corner shower units.

• 2 Double bedrooms on the ground floor, 1 with doors to the garden.

• Bathroom: with shower over bath and a further shower room with electric shower and WC downstairs.

• Separate WC upstairs and downstairs.

• Lounge: with TV,DVD, video and wood burner (logs free).

• Kitchen/diner: with electric range cooker, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

• Utility room: with tumble dryer.

• Outside: a door leads out to the patio area and garden. Large enclosed garden with garden furniture and gas BBQ.

• Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, oil central heating and Wi-Fi included.

• Up to 4 well-behaved dogs welcome.

• Additional info: a torch for the evenings may be required!

• Location: Beach is just 9 miles.

• Shop 3.5 miles.

• Pub walking distance.

• Arrival: 4pm

Dogs are charged at £20.00 per week per dog or £3.00 per day per dog for short breaks.
